  • and even worse fighting an enemy who wears no uniform

  • Just imagine what it must have been like, to get hit by a musket ball

  • what is the name of this song?

    it's good

  • @godfather2142 "British Grenadiers" Some info about it is on the video watch?v=OIVSpY8xY9I.

This version of it comes from the movie Barry Lyndon I think.

  • @crapatev tks a lot

  • The main reason why the Americans won the war was because ships coming from Britain carrying reinforcements got lost in a storm, thats why Britian lost. Read it up.

  • @Wires1994 Now I've heard it all haha.

  • Oh golly, lots of jingoistic childish comments here about which nation has the bigget dicks. Get over it everybody!

  • We speak American. Clearly there are words that you brits say that we Americans have no use for.

the roads and towns can be re named. theyre still towns and roads

Our way of life came from you but was influenced to not be anything like yours

Every empire fall. Except ours of course

I myslef dont hate brits, maybe just your accent. And i guess youre right, bc without you we wouldnt be the best of the best.

  • 50% of all people with german origin live in the USA. with other words: 42.500.000 germans! so no.. USA is not just "british".

  • Look British people the only reason your mad is because your army, which was supposed to be the greatest in the world mind you, lost to a bunch of farmers and and back alley soldiers. You even tried to invade us again and still couldn't take us down. Just face it we beat you fair and square before the french even arrived. Now your jealous because of the great power and influence we are to the world. A position which used to be yours, but now is ours. Just accept that now your the inferior nation

  • @buffsabre1 "Look British people the only reason your mad is because your army, which was supposed to be the greatest in the world mind you, lost to a bunch of farmers and and back alley soldiers. "

I'm getting a Vietnam flashback for some reason.

  • @buffsabre1 you underestimate the outside influence on this conflict. George Washington's troops were armed with French muskets and ammunition from 1776, throughout the duration of the war. Spain formally allied with the Continental Government in 1779, and provided military support, as did the Dutch in 1780. You also seem to have little view of the scope of this conflict. Spain and France waged war on Britain elsewhere, to prevent their focus falling entirely on the Colonies.

  • @buffsabre1 Additionaly, the War of 1812 was not a "second invasion". There were no orders, attempts, or interest in occupying any part of the United States during that conflict. If this was an invasion, why did they leave Washington? General Robert Ross entered Washington DC unopposed, then promptly left after burning select government buildings. Does that sound like occupation to you? The United States was the aggressor in that War, attempting to take control of Canada, 5 times.

  • The British left Washington due to Divine Intervention, a hurricane and tornadoes that hovered over the British troops until they ran away...

  • @tburzio Except if you know anything about hurricanes, you know they effect entire regions, which is why the entire Mid-Atlantic was effected, not just the British Land and Sea forces.

  • Thing that always bothered me about that stupid ambush scene is why didn't the Red Coats close in with Bayonets. That's how they cleared out ambushers at Lexington and Concord when they had to retreat. They would detach parties no bigger than that shown and do their killing with bayonets. Close combat like that was more common due to the limitations of the firearms they used. It was a normal part of battle - though not liked - so soldiers were trained to do it more than now.

  • brit farmers against brit soldiers, basically a civil war, gates was english who came from essex, i mite have even supported you people IF you had`nt made a pact with the french, traitors the lot of you.

  • @spokesey55

ever heard of the declaration on independence dumbass?

  • @spokesey55 Interestingly, most of the British soldiers were enlisted from the colonies, very few were actually sent over from England.

  • England should be proud of us, look what we have become and alot of that we have England to thank, and God of course. But look how we have turned out opposed to nations such as Mexico and Cuba, all former colonies of Spain.

  • it feels like im playing american conquest the sounds of death are the same lolol :D

  • name of song at start?

  • @JagjeetMann (The British Grenadiers!)

  • this song is about the battle of warterloo not the battle of camden

  • If Britain still had it's empire the world would be a much more stable place.

  • What would you rather be, French, Dutch, or English???

  • I used to hate Mel Gibson because of the anti-english "Braveheart",then the anti-British "The Patriot".But then Gibson had his outburst against the Jews, and appears to have survived it without having had to start begging forgiveness etc.So respect to you Mel.I don't have anything against Jews as a race, just the racist ones who have so much power in Hollywood, the media, banking, music business, the law etc.

  • Americans should thank France for it's help. They could not beat british alone.

  • oh so people dont fully believe im full of shit i trully admire and respect britians way of life, its standard, and most of all its support of the United States . but when a few bad apples .. me included start to blab about which country is better it turns into a shit bucket. thank you britian for your support.. but fuck alll you internet trolls.(americans included)

  • i am no ignorant moron i believe in the right to stand up for what you believe in. so if im ignorant for disliking these internet trolls for talking shit like a bunch of punk ass snaggled tooth dick jockeys then i can happpily blair my dislikes all over the fucking place... and for your own well being i suggest that you stop talking the shit that you are becuase i know im not an internet troll.. im a proud non pussy american. god bless america and may he strike down any who disagree with this

  • jguess it nolonger the king land is it u british pricks

  • God Bless The UK,especially the Welsh and God bless America!

  • But we are cousins, and great allies. so god less the uk,especially the Welsh and god bless America!

  • Americans only portray the battles they won,not the numerous battles during the revolution that they lost! Bias.

  • Generals Charles Lee and Horatio Gates both were former British officers. Both were utterly useless boobs to the Continental Army. If they were shining examples of what made a British officer, its no great mystery why America won her independence.

  • Comment removed

  • OK OK we get it Britain and the USA are great nations. now shut up.

  • @bobitski32 ! out of 2 aint bad. What the feck has the USA ever done that is *great*

  • @Kaldhore maybe you didn't read my comment right.

  • @bobitski32 I read it right, you were not clear tbh in your attempt at sattire humour.

  • @Kaldhore humour? are you that stupid? I was just trying to tell all the other people arguing on who's the better country to stop fighting cause it's annoying. Obviously, they are both great countries and i don't need to hear your FUCKING opinion. Don't bother replying.

  • It's a pity that this moronic film was ever made! (by a Anglophobic wife beating anti semitic catholic half wit!) The USA have always been jealous of Britain, but if they had controlled their envy a bit more in the last century, and not opposed us in Suez ,they would not be in the hated position in the World today that they are!! It's so easy to 'Brit Bash' because it's an easy cause....but maybe instead of remembering long forgotten conflicts....Remember who is your most consistant ally!

  • @rjun67

Whilst being a Catholic, I don't exactly consider myself a half-wit, but I digress. You are right, that the UNITED STATES (only because I'm tired of people saying "America" as that's a continent) and Great Britain are perhaps the most consistent allies the classical and modern world has ever seen. And hopefully will continue to support eachother to their greatest extent.

  • Well that was realistic.

  • Americans are also some of the most cultured, friendly, accepting and passionate people, not a claim most uk citizens can make.

  • @Avengerzification I dare say with you being Irish, your opinion may be a tad bit biased....Just a tad mind you.

  • As far as this claim of america being the aggressor, and the british wanting peace its plain as day untrue. There was 2 sides, the men who lived in america, and the men stationed there to claim it. Obviously the men who call the place home won, and if the men who failed in its occupation desired peace, all they had to do was pull out, and go back to there homes

  • British Pride may have you making these false claims, but america is without question a very original nation. It may have began its independence with some likeness's, but since opening its door to cultures and nationalities from every corner of the world, its very un-english

  • The are fox even in the war i in the end part

  • Americans are pretty much all english anyway.

    1. You speak our language.

    2. Your towns and cities are named after english roads and villages.

    3. Your very way of life comes from England.

    4. The British Empire achieved more then the U.S could ever have dreamed of.

    5. Don't hate the British, because if it wasn't for us. You wouldn't have ' U.S.A.'

  • @skuseyting Alrite I ain't American nor Brits. the early englishmen who settles in the north america did so on their own will and with no supports from the crown. (1494 i think). actually those englishmen left British Isles due to religious intolerance of the Henry VIII

I don't really know when did the Crown 'claimed' those early settlement as its own belonging? but AFAIK those settlers did found their very own nations 300 years BEFORE the USA was officially formed.

  • @skuseyting all of your people follows our fashions our musics...your Country only stands cuz of us ...you are jelous cuz we achived more 'n now we are the most powerful military nation in the wolrd... your youngster try to come out to my country 'n try their luck.. and cuz of we ain't English maybe our ancensters were but now we are updated...we have our own language...'n we invated nearly everythin you use nowdays

  • @vicePVic That was the most shittest comeback ever. Look up on your history and then kill yourself.

  • @vicePVic Seeing as you "invated" everything, why don't you invent some spelling and grammer for "your" language oh, my mistake you do still speak English don;'t you. Just so you know, these certian inventions you speak of may have been made on American soil, but, chances are it wasn't an American who made it, the world wide web was created by an Englishman and you use that everyday so please, before replying, research everything you're thinking of saying.

  • @Damien3210 The web was invented by a variety of nationalities, not just British. Seeing how there's no such thing as American ethnicity, you're slightly correct with the American inventions part. Most of us are from Europe (obviously), but we're still American.

  • @cookiemonster9052 Tim Berners Lee is the man who invented the World Wide Web, I chose my words carefully, yes the internet had been around and had many contributions by other people. but not the web, that was created by an Englishman. The internet and the web are actually two different things.

  • @skuseyting True True but we don't hate the British actually most Americans agree with British on 90% of policies. We joined you twice in two world wars and we trade with you. We share our intelligence secrets on the war on terror. We only rebelled because we felt that we where not getting fair enough representation in your parliament and you wouldn't allow many Americans to become full fledged Officers in the British Army. IE George Washington's dream was to become a British officer.

  • @cwood4ever Fair play.

  • @cwood4ever kekekeke a colonel

  • @skuseyting So you're basically saying if the British weren't ass holes in the first place there wouldn't be a USA? That's what I learned and am hearing.

  • @skuseyting it was also the germans and french who colonized our land the just had the decencey to let go the brittish held on because the were losing territory and funding for their wars of agression

  • @skuseyting Yes, we are heavily influenced by GB, but most of our blood is from other European nations. Also, we have our cultural differences.

  • @skuseyting Don't forget that the United States are constituted by 51 states...and they started with 13. At least 30% of the American population speaks Spanish, but the American Government is too damn stupid not to make it an official language. The American way of life has its roots in the English way of life, sure...and Dutch. and Spanish. And Irish. And German. And French. Even Danish. They have every reason to hate the British. Afterall, you colonized America because you hated them first.

  • @skuseyting "our towns and cities are named after english roads and villages." hahaha NO. because "Baton Rouge" is such a English name,Los Angeles etc etc etc.

Also the USA came close to speaking more Dutch then English also the USA does not have a official language,

By the way more German and Irish Blood in the USA then English

and what took the British Hundreds of years to do took the USA only 200.

    please go read some history,

  • @skuseyting And now, your "Empire" is confined to a small Island. America put the first plane in the sky and the first car on the road. Our military created the first computer system and we innovated and changed the face of the entire world with our science and imagination. The tea drinking britts achieved more then the US? Nope.

  • @jmfigone209

World Wide Web mate, World Wide Web.

  • @jmfigone209 Yeah if you look at it like that, we created a future super then, pretty impressive from a small island (:

  • @jmfigone209 America did NOT put the first car on the road, that would be the Germans (google Karl Benz). Your military did NOT create the 'worlds first computer system' (LOL!) google 'Colossus' which broke the Nazi Enigma code. You did NOT 'innovate and change the face of the Earth' (LMAO) google 'INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION' (which actually DID change the face of the Earth) any idea where it began? This film is full of shit as well.....blatant fucking lies from the alcoholic Nazi Mel Gibson lol.

  • @CaptainKubla PART1/2 It was an American industrialist, the founder of the Ford Motor Company, and sponsor of the development of the assembly line technique of mass production who made the car what it is today. His introduction of the Model T automobile revolutionized the transportation industry world wide. Germany any may have invented the engine, but they did not revolutionize the industry. Two, when I say invented the computer, I mean the personal computer, which was created by IBM.

  • @jmfigone209 So you were wrong then. None of this has anything to do with what you actually originally posted, which was false. Of course the US has had its achievements. In a list comparison however of British-US inventions (1776 onwards), the US are blown clean out of the water. Fact, not opinion. None of these things would be possible without the British led 'Industrial Revolution' regardless, which actually created the modern world (the US and world lagging behind for a long time) FACT.

  • @CaptainKubla (1/2) America has far out created England, don't make me laugh. American entrepreneurs and business created the motorcycle, the airplane, the skyscraper, the car assembly line, the telephone, put first man on the moon, the personal computer, the cell phone, the internet, the GPS system, the artificial heart, the bionic contact lens, liquid rocket fuel, air conditioner, photographic film, microwave, the polio vaccine, and so on. Get off your high horse and smell the shit.

  • @jmfigone209

    1. At least try to get your facts correct. It's BRITAIN not England.

    2. America has done well, but not better than Britain, when it comes to discovery and invention, especially considering their respective sizes. However, when it comes to developing and commercializing new-found technology, Britain is suicidally incompetent.

  • @crapatev America has done fuck all compared to Britain. It even professes the land of liberty when it was only 40 years ago blacks had to sit at the back of the bus. The only thing America has is a big stick. other than that they are shit.

  • @Kaldhore "... it was only 40 years ago blacks had to sit at the back of the bus."

Back GIs couldn't believe it when they were welcome in British pubs/cafes, along with everybody else. There were often fights between white and black GIs because of the race issue, and I'm proud to say that Brits were usually on the side of the black guys.

Also, hats off to black soldiers for fighting for the US (pre-emancipation) - incredibly generous in spirit considering their treatment back home.

  • @crapatev Jesse James who won gold at the berlin olympics 1936 i think for america was congratulated by german officials (not hitler tho cos he decided not to congrat anyone) was SNUbbed by the american president FDR and had to ride a bus at the back home........................... explain

  • @Kaldhore *Jesse Owens. And Hitler DID congratulate him, according to Owens himself.

  • @jmfigone209 too bad they arent considered a race but a bunch fags grouped up. we british relied on ourselves upon technology.

  • @TheRedasshole That made absolutely zero sense, nice try.

  • (2/2) I can say, not as a patriotic bromide, but with full knowledge of the necessary metaphysical, epistemological, ethical, political and esthetic roots, that the USA is the greatest, the noblest and, in its original founding principles, the only moral country in the history of the world. Other countries may have created products, but it was because of Americas economic freedoms that those products became what they are today. America took products and made them marketable to the consumer.

  • @jmfigone209 "I can say, not as a patriotic bromide, but with full knowledge of the necessary metaphysical, epistemological, ethical, political and esthetic roots, that the USA is the greatest, the noblest and, in its original founding principles, the only moral country in the history of the world. "

ROFLYSST! Do you write op-eds for The Onion?

  • @crapatev No, I'm a student blogger for politico. My undergraduate thesis on the business cycle caught the attention of many organizations.

  • @jmfigone209 Could you summarize the content of your thesis for me in the form of a haiku (17 syllables)?

  • @crapatev Well, I could send you a PM of the summary. My thesis consists of 101 pages.

  • @CaptainKubla Next, if you're going to sit here and say American science and the imagination of our entrepreneurs did not contribute to world progress then you're extremely ignorant. America put the first man on the moon and connected the world through the internet during the dot com boom in the 90's. And yes, as much as you hate it, American markets made the internet viable. For example, this website is a creation of an American entrepreneur and so are many of the other famous networking sites.

  • The dot com boom was short lived and the vast majority of companies were not viable, with only a very small minority having any kind of success. As much as you might hate it (lol), we could not be having this 'conversation' without the work of British computer scientist Tim Berners Lee...Unless of course you are fluent in reading 0's and 1's? (Binary code). Thought not. Henry Ford was a Fascist and traitor, who financed, enabled, and contributed to Hitlers murder machine. What a guy.

  • @skuseyting yeah we came from england...but your wrong on ur 5th point...there would be no U.S.A if we didn't kick your guys' ass

  • @skuseyting

We get it. We're supposed to like what you like and if we think otherwise, we are a dirty, 2nd rate citizen scum of the earth, and deserve to be shunned by mankind.

We do not need anymore of this ridiculous rabble.

  • @skuseyting

the british empire went to the moon? or did it get defeated by african spear chuckers....remind me which

  • @skuseyting We dont/didnt hate the British for those reasons. We hate(d) the British because of the cruelty, ignorance, and brutality in which they enforced upon us in the American Revolution. We Fought for OUR Freedom and no one will ever take that away from us. Screw the British, this is our Nation.

  • @Smithiebasketball1 "We hate(d) the British because of the cruelty, ignorance, and brutality in which they enforced upon us in the American Revolution. "

Yup, that tax on tea was a tad excessive.

  • @crapatev If you think that was bad, look at the taxes Congress imposed AFTER the war!

  • Nobody won the 1812 war, both sides lost and acquired territory, which were then restored back to the original lines after the treaty of ghent.

  • What a combination - Hollywood and Mel Gibson. I just hope people aren't so stupid as to think this is history they are watching...

  • Imagine you sit on ur house peacefully , suddenly a battle broke up infront ur yard ,

  • We need to remember that the British and American people, like every other (formerly) white country, now face a common enemy- those who are overseeing the colonisation process against us.In a few decades white people will be the minority in our countries. We need to unite and resist politically-spread the word!Remember that this is Hollywood(which is run by Jewish people)propoganda, intended to get us squabbling amongst ourselves.

  • @ImaViking1 WHATinthenameofallthatissane! Please, learn to respect that just because people may not hold the same values as you, or have the same shade of PINK as you, that they are not necessarily your enemies. I am a proud white-hispanic (half black hispanic), and i find that nowadays, it is almost impossible to claim oneself as purely white. There's way too much mixing that occured back then and today. If you happen to be one of the few, congrats, you're a minority in most places!

  • @ImaViking1 WHATinthenameofallthatissane! Please, learn to respect that just because people may not hold the same values as you, or have the same shade of PINK as you, that they are not necessarily your enemies. • @softballa13tondalayo It's not about being enemies, but different groups have different interests.Immigration pushes wages down and increases unemployment.Racial politics appear to be a fact of life-in the US it seems to be more overt eg the Congressional Black Caucus,I presume theres a Hispanic Caucus. All non-white groups are allowed to advance the interests of their own racial group, except white people, thats not equality.

  • @ImaViking1 Youve got such a good fucking point right there, A minority hits a white guy in england the minority is given a warning. A white guy hits a minority and they are slapped with BGH and Racially aggrivated violence, fuck this pollitically correct bullshit.

  • @ImaViking1 You Nazi Bastard

  • the best action movies, and movies in general, is those without all these crappy digital special effects imo. thats why I love all these "older" movies or how to say... sorry if I misspelled anything (I'm from Sweden)...

  • What is a model of rifle used by american skirmishers?

is it Ferguson or what else? i've heard that skirmishers of both sides used those advanced weapons. this scene displayed how those skirmishers wiht rifles can effectively eliminate the whole formations of line infantry armed with smoothbore brown bess musket. but i'm not sure if the director ignores reloading sequences. by that time very few trusts breech loaders regardless that these advanced weapons existed by that time.

  • fucking owned

i love this film because it shows how britian didnt lose because of the fighting in the civil war, but just because they felt more threatened by other countries such as the germans french and russians. no point owning america if the original homeland goes to

  • althoug the americans did use geurilla tactics washingtons main objective was to create a europian army, and the americans did prove that they could stand up to the british regulars at the battle of saratoga as well as smaller confontations such as trenton, and bunker hill. the british with all there resources couldnt defeat our fledgling army, and it happened again in the war of 1812,

  • @puck889 America lost in 1812

  • @uafchris No we didn't. The treaty that ended it ceded none of our land (granted, we didn't gain any) and the principle reason for the war (impressment) ceased to be an issue. In fact, after the treaty was signed, a major US victory was won in New Orleans.

  • @hunterkiller232134 True, but the US failed in its main aim which was to invade and annex Canada. Britain having no objectives other than to defend Canada, won the war. It managed to defeat each of the US invasions and thus defeated the "fledgling army" multiple times. No country gained anything, but it was only the US that actually wanted to seize any territory. New Orleans was a famous victory but it was after a war of humiliating defeats.

  • @uafchris We didn't capture territory, true, but we succeeded in ending impressment (or, I guess, Napoleon failed), we ended British intervention in the western territories and we showed the world that we were willing to stand and fight. The war was mostly about prestige, anyway, and to that end we succeeded in gaining no small amount. The US Navy recognizes the war as one of its finest moments.

  • @hunterkiller232134 lol - teh US navy reckons anything it ever fought in was its finest moment, doesn't it?

  • @blueray1969 Perhaps not every moment, but 1812 stands out. They won most of the battles, and constructed some of the best ships around at the time. WWII would probably be the one to top it.

  • @uafchris no, if america lost it wouldnt be a country right now

the british agreed to a peace treaty

  • @puck889 Yes it would still be a country, the war was about America trying to invade Canada not Britain trying to invade the US. The American army was defeated in Canada, the US economy was crippled and Washington DC lay in ruins = American defeat.

  • @uafchris the americans declared war because the british were pressing american sea men into tthe royal navy, among other reasons, the americans took this as an excuse to invade canada, although the british defeated the americans in canada te samefrce that bredte captal was later defeated in maryland and forced to with draw. the british had attempted to retake the colonies and they failed singing a peace treaty = american victory

  • @puck889 The British didn't try to retake the "colonies" they attacked the US to get the Americans to agree to peace; they managed to achieved this = British victory. America lost a war, just get over it.

  • @uafchris That is a very uneducated opinion and a very laughable one. If the British just wanted peace, they would've stopped fighting! They wanted to control the colonies, that was the whole point of them fighting the colonists. Your argument that they wanted peace is asinine and doesn't hold any water and makes me want to know where you learned history. Maybe in America, because the way we teach history is retarded and I can see producing such answers.

  • @Vots Im talking about the War of 1812 when the US attacked Canada.

  • @Vots The British couldn't stop fighting because the Americans wouldn't! The US attacked Canada in 1812. All Britain wanted was to defend Canada and achieve a peace agreement so they could get on with fighting Napoleon. All the attacks on the US after the Americans were defeated in Canada were to pressurise the US government into agreeing to peace. Britain had no intention of controlling the US what so ever; it was America that wanted the war.

  • @uafchris So Britain didnt mind losing a vast area of land containing huge amounts of natural resources? From what you are saying, Britain was a retarded empire.

  • @WilliamMarshall01 Im talking about the War of 1812 not the American revolution.

  • @uafchris does it matter? we are allies now

  • @uafchris I thought you were talking about the period in the 1770's. However, your comments are still skewed when speaking about the War of 1812. The USA declared war on Britain because they were seizing US ships! They still saw America as juvenile and weren't happy the US was trading with the French. So they just seized and captured American ships as they traveled across. The US had no choice but to declare war on Britain.

  • @uafchris america was fighting in canada because the brittish were enslaving our sailors off the coast of africa the boer wars were fought for this purpose the brittsh wanted america int the late 1860s so dont pull that out of your ass

  • @KALIBREKILLER Your comment makes no sense

  • @uafchris His comment does make sense, yours don't. When Britain seized US trade ships going across the Atlantic, a lot of the American sailors were taken and forced into the Royal Navy.

  • @uafchris im sayin the real reason of the war of 1812

  • @KALIBREKILLER No, the stuff about Boers and the late 1860s

  • @uafchris oh the american civil war is what im talking about and england supported the losing south because they wanted to take america when it would be weakest seperated so they supported the losing south

  • @KALIBREKILLER Actually Britain supplied both sides in the war with the intention of making as much profit as possible. Britain had no intention of taking America. What youre thinking off was the remote possibility of Britain or France recognising the south and pressurising the US government into ending to the war as it was damaging the European textiles industry. Though this never happened because as soon as Lincoln abolished slavery Britain immediately stopped all support for the confederates

  • @uafchris no the brits gave military aid to the confederacy and all major european countries supplied the union

  • @uafchris also the only time america was not in debt was during andrew jacksons time in office, andrew jackson became presedent right after the war, the american econemy was at its best as a result of the war

  • @puck889 Maybe after the war, but during the war itself the Royal Navy crippled the American economy, its one of the main reasons the US government finally agreed to peace.

  • we lost this war because the yanks used geurilla tactics on there homeland, and couldnt face up to the Brits in open warfare. Plus america was less valuable than our trading ports just like Jamaica. o ye, plus we were betrayed by the rest of europe. so the yanks fought like the viet cong in vietnam which beat them.

  • @jonomono1994 Agree with you to a point, but in terms of Vietnam, history will bear out, after the tet offensive in 1968, the US counter offensive essentially eliminated over 70% of the Viet Cong forces in the South and never again were they any threat as a cohesive fighting force. In fact, what is so ironic is the fact that the US was kicking major ass on both VC and NVA forces in the later years -- it was just that opposition to the war led to withdrawals. Disagree?? -- then research it.

  • What would life be like had the Americans lost this war??? Would they be making movies about the courageousness of some British loyalist family in America fighting off the American colonists disloyalty to the crown?? I wonder......Anyhoo, i will say it was a great movie and good on you America for winning your independence!

  • @Lanarkwow America didn't win it lol, haha.

  • @jayc342009 Well, we were the cause of the victory, but you're right. In the end, we didn't win the war, the French won the last battle at Yorktown.

  • Personally, when the British where in Americas Scotland should've taken over England, let the English be Scotland's bitch for a while.

  • Dear oh deary a Paramecium has a supperior brain compared to some of morons commenting on this vid... The yanks won the war thanks to the vast distance between the continents and thanks to some help from the frogs. No use crying over spilt milk. Considering whats happend to them today maybe we were lucky we lost that war.... food for thought.

  • what ever you people say:)

  • America will soon be ruled from Beijing

  • @Edjidudley1970 what you see in this movie will happen before that. and as the brits learned, you cant beat us on our own soil. 287,000,000 guns are in america ready to kill invaders foreign and domestic. plus i could make a phone call and have 43 armed militiamen at my front door in 15 minutes in full molle gear. dont fuck with the USA.

  • in pirate days british mostly liked beat america! but now america has the strongest military on the planet, and america also helps other countries so if you think british is still powerful go ahead and say that! no matter what you say america is now powerful!!!

  • O_o

  • i kind of feel sorry for the british in real history. i mean, they just got done fighting the seven years war and was forced to fight half of europe again during the revolution.

  • EPIC FAIL BRITAIN! long live america!... did you know? america is the most powerful countery in the world now?

  • @markschultz78 you didn't beat us alone, you had the french helping and other european countries, epic fail USA? HAHAHAHA

  • @MegaFight4life im sorry to say this but... britain or epic fail for them! america is now powerful.

  • @markschultz78 Ofcourse they are, But not for long, I respect my brothers from the USA but there economy isn't great, china will soon be the worlds strongest power!

  • @MegaFight4life nope.

  • @markschultz78 Not for long:)

  • @markschultz78 No, thats China your thinking of, America is in rapid decline.

  • @uafchris no im not thinking of china!

  • @markschultz78 You better start doing

  • @uafchris ?

  • @markschultz78 China is emerging as the most powerful military and economic power in the world, which is why everyones scared of it.

  • nadie , de todos estos weones ha estado en una puta guerra ni pueden hablar otro idioma jajajajajaja . adios ,por siacaso soyi indio de la patagonia

  • i dont care about this discussion,,, WHATS THE FUCKING NAME OF THE SONG !? THE DRUMMS ARE EPIC

  • @davenom16 British Grenadiers with fife and drum, the best of the british, the british grenadiers marched to this, not to gloat, since i'm american

  • @lord1night1ish First it is "guerrilla" from the Spanish word for "little war" and second you were not a super power 100 years later (i.e. mid 1870s) because you had just fought a civil war that had ripped your nation in two. Please be correct in the future when you are trying to stand up for your nation.

  • Please tell me I was not the only one to laugh at 5.23?

  • Americans! Too dumb and scared to fight in the open so they just hide it trees and act like a bunch of savages! Too stupid to learn how to fight properly. Stupid savages even use child abuse!

  • @dustpelt1 To scared to fight?Lolz it's called gurilla warfare, and worked perfectly for our independence. And we did line up to face the british, they diden't have much guns and ammo but with Frances help we won.Funny how 100 years later after this war we became a super power -__-.Respect to British and France aswell, this war is done and over with and we are allies.Blame Hollywood with their propaganda..

  • It’s a good movie but the only thing that bothers me is that in all the ambushes the revolutionaries hit every shot that they take with the musket while the British always miss every shot they take, apart from that it’s a good film to watch

  • In my opinion, japanese was to be defeated in that certain time, americans just wanted to have them experimented of atomic bombs. I think many americans are cool but I can't lay any love for USA. Sry for my dumb english.

  • @TheStukabomb The 2no. atomic bombs prevented a prolonged conflict, that would otherwise have led to greater Japanese civilian deaths and Allied military loses if an invasion campaign had been undertaken.

  • @globinpig ...Have you ever heard about radiation or cancer or something?

  • @TheStukabomb Noted.

  • Hurr hurr! Wuts this?!? A person feeling proud of where hes born and raised? Lets call him a fat faggot!

    Ugh. Immature snobs. 9.9
