  • That's so cool, wish I could of saw it.

  • @donutfatal213 its still there...

  • @SHANETH3BRAIN Too bad it's not? lol..

  • @donutfatal213 ....

  • the only bad thing about LA... YOU CANT SEE THE STARS

  • I saw it today, infront of my brothers House, thank God for let us see this rare things

  • Stupid tennis court lights didn't let me see it!!!

  • i can see this from my back garden

  • THIS IS FUCKING BULLSHIT

  • even though i trust u on this, this dot could be anything ;)

exciting it is anyway, is there bette footage around ? I thought Thunderf00t wantet to drop a timelaps or something

  • @menue4real its aload of shit dude. Think about it. If you saw this, would you not be screaming and thinking it was incredible?? This guy is a fake

  • @ibanez2damaxx look it up in the news dude its real

  • @jayfeather2 I know there was a supernova but that isn't one haha, good effort though

  • Thanks for the upload! I saw this too..very exciting!!!

  • i saw it i didnt know what it was until my friend told me

  • There is a supernova near the Plough at present but this doesn't look like it.

  • A supernova doesn't twinkle like that. I looked the star Sirius, the brightest star of the night sky.

  • I observed it between 11pm and midnight on September 9th with a 7 x 32mm monocular in Seattle

  • would you be able to see the supernova from southern Manitoba

  • FYI, there is a supernova, right now in a galaxy in the north-east quadrant.

  • ah i have a chance to still c itgreate

  • Too cloudy tonight :s but we will be able to see it for the next two days so its ok :)

  • Cool! Unlikely il be able to see it with my equipment (plus it's cloudy in London tonight!) so thank you!

  • We'll be able to see it from today (9!!!) until 12 of September . . . where are you from?? And the flashing is actual? HAHAHA What a telescope.... L O L

  • Step into my office.....cause you're fuckin fired!!! ~:(

  • that's chuck norris getting angry.

  • what time did you actually see it?

  • is it only one day or a certain time or does it sort of carry on for a day or 2?

  • Amazing

  • That was millions years ago... The supernova may not even exist anymore!

  • I just make thumbs up for you.

  • it was too cloudy for me so i couldnt see it iv always wanted to see one myself

  • I'm pretty sure that's Jupiter. There's no way you video taped a supernova, that's 21 million light years away, with your shitty camcorder.

    Douche.

  • Actually there has been a supernova visible on the 24th of aug 2011(!)...read the news before you try to throw shit at someone...

  • they say it will be on its peak luminosity between September 9 and 12.. oh, it will be tomorrow! Philippine time. ^^

  • I just read about this a few minutes ago, went outside, and there it was! I used a pair of binoculars though, and couldn't hold it steady so the little white dot just danced all over my view.

  • I'm fairly sure this isn't anything supernova. This video -> watch?v=NFtPbY6NsME&feature=related was uploaded in 2007 and shows the exact same flickering colours of a star. I've also seen videos of Saturn flickering like this which leads me to believe it's just your camera playing a trick on you : /

  • That's Aldo Nova

  • nice footage

  • @flib08 yeah you can ..too bad I didnt .

  • @gmlsc Just because its flashing and twinkling doesnt mean its the supernova. Its the earths atmosphere which creates that effect on stars. It doesnt look that big in the sky either, it is over 21 million light years away in M101 galaxy....

  • @flib08 Just because you hate supernovas, doesnt mean you have to go back in time, go on youtube and have a go at camera functions.

    That just aint right.

  • @TTKMKaizen Just because your a fucking down syndrome thinking this is a supernova, just aint right..Maybe if you actually knew something about astronomy, you would understand.

  • @flib08 Hey, I didnt say anything about a supernova.

I just said just because you come from mars, doesnt mean you can be racist against the black and jews.

Racism caused 9/11 - Dont make another one happen.

  • @flib08 *You're

  • @flib08 You have downs syndrome? Do you have to wear a crash helmet all the time?

  • Comment removed

  • @flib08 In the description:

"The camera went out of focus a couple times as you will see"

    Reading fail

    Have a nice day ^_^

  • @TTKMKaizen Well if the guy knew much about astrophotography he would know that you don't use autofocus, fool.

  • @flib08 Retard.

  • This very good work considering you didnt use pro equiptment. Great job buddy.

  • Thank you for sharing. It has been too cloudy rainy the past few days to view this from DC and it looks like it will continue to be like that.

Is the change in appearance just the auto focus on your camera?

  • @waynomo Yes..it went out of focus a couple times.I really needed to throw the camera on a tripod when I did this. I shot it with a Canon sx30 camera and have a 140x zoom digitally.

  • Thanks for sharing this! I tried watching it as well but my binoculars are not strong enough and I don't have a telescope. Cheers!
