Also the enemies on veteran shoot you when they cant even see you! Im trying over and over and cant get past the first area. Activision will not be selling me another CoD game if they cannot refrain from dishonest tactics.

im not sure this is really veteran dificulty. one shot should make you see blood in ur eyes, and many gernades should be coming at you from everywhere.
I found blowtorch very easy on veteran compared to other levels. I still need to beat downfall, relentless, ring of steel and some other level that I forgot the name of.
yeah after watching it again and having beaten the level. this looks like the real deal to me. I have NO idea how he makes the level look this easy. I'm very envious of your skills zyon. Well done.

I did this level and did it very slowly. Patience is definitely the key. I slowly picked off the people one by one. It took me about 3 hours. The worst part was the very start where somehow there somebody was either shooting me through the middle of a 6 foot thick pillar or the pillar itself was shooting me.
Actually loads of my mates have xboxs and one of thems shit at thhe actual story mode thing so i done it for him and i completed it on veteran within 2 days.... on my PS3 im stuck on the last level because you get teabagged everytime you stand up so its miles harder on ps3
Just to let you guys know, just because its on the PS3 doesnt mean its harder or easier, I have an xbox 360 and find everytime I take cover 2 germans manage to throw 6-7 grenades my way no matter where I hide. You go to move and PWNED in 2 hits lol.

This is 100% not on veteran, unless veteran for 360 is 753496537 times harder than ps3. For 360, WAY more than 2 grenades are thrown at you. I can't even run anywhere without getting shot or grenaded to death.

this is definately not VET mode. I've been playing this frikin level for a frikin hour and I die almost instantly from shots. OHh and also, you have no frikin grenades coming at you. I had grenades left and right that killed if I didn't run, and I ran, I died too! Ohh and if this were Vet, you would not have been able to get through it in 20 minutes.

No just some points they is infinite spawn. Take breaking POint. In the end you have crazy kami kazis attacking until you finally bomb the damn place. Or in blowtorch and corkscrew the beginning there is no infinite spawn you just have to clear the place. Just different times. Another one is heart of the reich. End part at the front of the building they have infinite spawn until your squad moves forward.

lol this was the hardest level on veteran for me i died maybee millions of times.untill i relized they like fucken machines they just kept spawnung and spawnung then once i started moving up. it looked liek they were scared and falling up they i just kept pushing even more. put it was pain in the ass
I have done every mission on veteran now. Downfall is one of the easiest levels I found. Once you get pass the staircase in the Reichstag is plain sailing from there. A little tip is to keep the sniper rifle , makes the last bit of mission alot more easy.
I have just done the Heart of the Reich about 5mins ago. I thought that was the hardest level in the whole game. Taking out those Flak 88s is a pain in the ass.

1. not enough fire from the nazis in your direction 2. after one hit your screen is not red enough 3. although you are a very good shot on vet even head shots will most times not kill right away. this is a hardened run through. want to shut me and all the other doubters up? make a vid with you selecting downfall from the replay list and selecting veteran difficulty other wise me and anyone else will say this vid is shit. which it is.
definetly not veteran his health regens far too quick and a shot that would kill me on vet barely grazes him, thanks zyon for showing us how to play the game on recruit but were after a veteran guide
Yep, a hard one this! For those that haven't done it on Veteran yet, the best and only advice: BE PATIENT! I tried heaps of strategies for this, the only one that worked, stay back and slowly pick off the enemies whilst gradually shuffling forwards, allow the enemies from both sides to enter the middle (takes time) and don't forget to lob grenades also, jump and snipe is a helpful way of getting those behind the sandbags. Good luck
If they don't respawn then its on a difficulty lower than vet. I played Vet on Wii and i got killed BY respawning enemies. The PPSh-1 just owns in this level.
Though this does look like its vet. 2 shots gets you a red screen.

this is not veteran its hardened, after all the time i had to re-do this level when i did it on veteran there was not a single moment that when i was not in cover i was'nt getting hit. and on top of that gernades were thrown at me by the masses.

You cannot do a damn thing except get shot. the enemies can hit you right in the face from any distance, with any weapon, even if they are shooting from the hip, and running at the same time! you won't even know where you are getting hit from. All the while your dumbass allies just shoot at everything, except the germans... CURSE YOU ACTIVISION !!!
i agree u are on vet 1-3 shots on you at once wont do much but more will turn ur screen red. sometimes headshoit make u go red or depends on the weapon and range. but u are on vet i am copiing you can it works well.

was this on the 360 or pc? Cause on ps3 you can't hide in any the the spots on the beginning. Trust me, just running across the opening you get nailed a few times, and about three to four grenades at you.

this is definately not VET mode. I've been playing this frikin level for a frikin hour and I die almost instantly from shots. OHh and also, you have no frikin grenades coming at you. I had grenades left and right that killed if I didn't run, and I ran, I died too! Ohh and if this were Vet, you would not have been able to get through it in 20 minutes.

No just some points they is infinite spawn. Take breaking POint. In the end you have crazy kami kazis attacking until you finally bomb the damn place. Or in blowtorch and corkscrew the beginning there is no infinite spawn you just have to clear the place. Just different times. Another one is heart of the reich. End part at the front of the building they have infinite spawn until your squad moves forward.

is there a difference in difficulty between PS3 and xbox 360. every time i see a video that is on "veteran" it on a 360. on ps3 you can't do what his dude does. where ever you are they'll kill you. 1 1/2 shots and your dead. plus on ps3's veteran they throw so many fucking grenades. so is there a difference

lol this was the hardest level on veteran for me i died maybee millions of times.untill i relized they like fucken machines they just kept spawnung and spawnung then once i started moving up. it looked liek they were scared and falling up they i just kept pushing even more. put it was pain in the ass

I have done every mission on veteran now. Downfall is one of the easiest levels I found. Once you get pass the staircase in the Reichstag is plain sailing from there. A little tip is to keep the sniper rifle , makes the last bit of mission alot more easy.
I have just done the Heart of the Reich about 5mins ago. I thought that was the hardest level in the whole game. Taking out those Flak 88s is a pain in the ass.

2. If you noticed, I took out a lot of enemies from the beginning (they dont respawn)
3. At the cover I use before the stairs, nades won't get to you xD try it yourself
and from the moment I move on you will see the grenade indicator, so...?

Yep, a hard one this! For those that haven't done it on Veteran yet, the best and only advice: BE PATIENT! I tried heaps of strategies for this, the only one that worked, stay back and slowly pick off the enemies whilst gradually shuffling forwards, allow the enemies from both sides to enter the middle (takes time) and don't forget to lob grenades also, jump and snipe is a helpful way of getting those behind the sandbags. If they don't respawn then its on a difficulty lower than vet. I played Vet on Wii and i got killed BY respawning enemies. The PPSh-1 just owns in this level.
Though this does look like its vet. 2 shots gets you a red screen.

this is not veteran its hardened, after all the time i had to re-do this level when i did it on veteran there was not a single moment that when i was not in cover i was'nt getting hit. and on top of that gernades were thrown at me by the masses.

Amen ryith. You speak the truth. I have done every level on Veteran except this one and let me tell you it cannot be done! You cannot do a damn thing except get shot. the enemies can hit you right in the face from any distance, with any weapon, even if they are shooting from the hip, and running at the same time! you won't even know where you are getting hit from. All the while your dumbass allies just shoot at everything, except the germans... CURSE YOU ACTIVISION !!!

This is veteran, but you have to work differently than some other levels.
You don't have to push forward here, the enemies don't respawn. So take your time, find good cover like I did and then take them out 1 by 1.

i agree u are on vet 1-3 shots on you at once wont do much but more will turn ur screen red. sometimes headshoit make u go red or depends on the weapon and range. but u are on vet i am copiing you can it works well.
