  • Simplismente épico ! (:

  • @YaoMingfuckingNorris Eres el peor tipo de persona en la faz de la tierra.

  • Sometimes I wonder when all of these pop star video's with millions of views will die out. Then I think of if something like this, that will never be forgotten, will keep getting views a hundred years from now and eventually be the most viewed video. Not that it matters to me cause I'll be listening to this until I'm gone.

  • This music feels like it belong in Chrono Trigger. Both great games.

  • @aznboi1027 Just got done listening to some CT and read that comment. Couldn't agree more.

  • I remember being in awe the first time I heard this song when playing DKC2 on the SNES so many years ago... will never forget that moment. XD

  • @FJose95 :'( yet, :) I GREW UP WITH THESE GAMES!

  • David Wise Is God! ^-^

  • Come Back To Nintendo, RARE We Beg You!

  • @StrangeReality

Yep, until Microsoft screwed them over

  • ... i need to buy a new snes controller now, i miss this game

  • This song makes me sad so much memories i love this game, it makes me remember old times that will never come back jeje

  • Games are aging poorly for the generation who grew up with stuff like this. I can barely pick up a game anymore and enjoy it..whereas with the SNES genre I could rent a game, pick it up and play it for hours even if I didn't like it! Wish I could go back in time to being a kid and enjoying all of these awesome games again

  • This song makes me really wish that I still had a Super Nintendo....I'm in a better mood now :)

  • I'm lucky to die knowing this song...

So many people will never have the chance...

  • When I listen o something like this, I wish that I was back in 05' that I would play my brother's SNES when I was 5 and just enjoy the good things in life

  • Oh my god, this is the only song from this game that I remember, and I totally forgot I even remembered it! It's like 1/2 Deja Vu, 1/2 Nostalgia rush

  • I feel like I'm the only one that never played this game. Damn shame too. This track is amazing!

  • @llecho419ll I didn't play it, too. I had the DK Land 2 Version on Game Boy when I was small. It was a good conversion, though most of the music was missing. Luckily, Bramble Blast/Stickerbrush Symphony was in, though I remember the Game most for "Crocodile Cacopohony", "K.Rool Returns" and "Lockjaw's Locker".

  • @llecho419ll I never played it either, but I wish I have.

  • Got here from ponies.

    Liked it.

  • thank you for posting these classics.

  • nowadays its rare for rare to make a good wares

  • 1:08 - 1:28

  • Nostalgia right here!

  • Rare came from England didn`t they?

  • @NaruBlue123456

Yes, the Rare Ltd headquarters are based in Twycross, Leicestershire :)

  • I played this for the first time on the Virtual Console on my Wii and I gotta say,I had to pause the game for a sec cause I was in tears.I was so moved by this piece.I wish video game music could win Grammys because this song is so beautiful

  • Minha infância!

    LINDA DEMAIS ESSA MÚSICA!

  • Rare was epic before they sold to Microsoft and everyone left.

  • I listen to this song and the first thing that comes to my mind is Squawks the Parrot flying around the thorns stage

  • to bad this is in well an sortof bonus stage...

it would be a perfect theme for like i dunno somewhere in an beggining stage or the credits...

not the title the title theme is awesome

  • back when "NINTENDO OFFICIAL SEAL OF QUALITY" and/or "PLAYERS CHOICE" official stamp on the box cover actually meant the truth that the game was actually good lol

  • this game is extremely amazing :D

  • O melhor fase-som de todos os que já ouvi!

  • I cant listen to this without tearing up.

  • Tears of JOY

  • When this music played you know you were about to play a level that was hard as fuck.

  • @IceArrow26 LOL

  • Two words to say about this song. FUCKIN' EPIC!

This is the best DK song ever, it's DEFINITELY on my TOP 10 favorite game songs. So calm, relaxing and profund... It's so... BEAUTIFUL! This song is PERFECT.

  • @LightTheHawk i'd stick my penis in it, if you know what i mean.

  • If you don't like this song you sir do not have a soul.

  • @TheSSJSnoop people who don't like the things i like have no soul

  • BEST.YOUTUBE.CHANNEL.EVER

  • Attention Donkey Kong fans! Check out a great Swedish Disco artist called Sally Shapiro. The music reminds me a lot of the same type of magic captured in time from this brilliant video game music! Donkey Kong forever!!!

  • sniff sniff someone please turn this off im about to cry ive never played this game but the music is gorgeous!

  • @regularcrossing2010 Are you kidding me? This is like one of those video games that you must play before you die man. Keep cooking with some classic Donkey Kong right now!

  • @regularcrossing2010

Gotta agree with Zadunestar, DKC2 is an incredible game that you should check out if you have any appreciation for old school platformers. I just got done playing through DKC3 for the fourth or fifth time and it's a joke compared to DKC2, so fucking easy and lazy, it has its moments but it's not like DKC2 which is a masterpiece of a game from start to finish IMO.

  • You wanna hear something funny?? 2 years after this game came out I was in the 99cents store i was browsing through stuff and i found this game. I was so shocked i found it there. I took it to the register and bought it the second i found it. best fucking $1 i ever spent. $1 game me a whole lot of childhood memories I'll never forget.

  • I never played DKC 2 or 3 because Donkey Kong wasn't in em... I was a fool!

  • @SirBootlegchris DKC 2 was the best of them all :c

  • Stickerbrush Symphony is by far one of my favourite songs of all time (I mean, not only from video games, but overall). Its immaculate beauty encaptures the heavenly atmosphere of a level such as Bramble Blast, and it makes me to appreciate the true magnificence of the world I live in.

I have played a lot of games in my life, but none of them could reach the masterpiece that is DKC2. Whenever I am asked if videogames are a form of art, I always answer without hesitation "Donkey Kong Country 2".

  • David Wise is the best Video game music artist ever, i think we can all agree on this, as he made both the amazing Gang-Plank Galleon, Stickerbrush Symphony, Forest Interlude, Jungle Hijinx etc. :)

  • Greatest in game song ever!

  • So much of my childhood is wrapped up in great music from the SNES and PS1... whenever I hear this song it really takes me back. Simple times in the early 90's... man, those were the days. Stickerbrush is probably my favorite from David Wise, followed by Forest Interlude. So calm, yet full of emotion. It's amazing how much of an impact these games have had on me throughout my life. I always gravitate towards this music when I'm feeling sad or lost in the world. They always bring me comfort.

  • @KrystalSpring You have very very good taste my friend

  • Remember when Rare was a good?

  • @StrangeReality You mean to say, "Remember when Rare existed?" I presume.

  • @PopcornBunni They still exist. They are owned by Microsoft now.

  • @trev03 You mean to say, "They don't exist. Microsoft bought them from Nintendo then did nothing with the company," I presume.

  • @StrangeReality Remember when Rare was Rare?

  • @StrangeReality

I have this vhs video of the rare team making dkc and they are some awesome dudes. real gamers like you n me.

  • @TangerineGroovin Dude, you need to upload it to YouTube or something, for real.

  • @StrangeReality donkey kong golden eye perfect dark banjo kazooie/tooie... anything else from rare?

  • @honorguard88 conkers bad fur day, jet force gemini, starfox, and so on... they made nearly ALL the great Nintendo games.

  • @ahquejohnny

    They didn't make starfox. Sadly.

  • @ahquejohnny also killer instinct that was my favorite fighting game

  • @honorguard88 Jet Force Gemini

  • This is actually one of my favorite themes from any game ever. It's so calming and lush, even though its levels might be a tad frustrating. It's almost a bit sarcastic. I do not mean this as a spam at all, but I have made a remix of this song, wich I have on my channel, for those interested.

  • @brunstad Working on my own. =P

  • @pcred566 Nice! Gimme a message when you're done!

  • @brunstad = ) Thanks, I'll look at yours. Mine was made using instrumentals, so most of the techno sounds won't be included. =P

  • The developers didnt put timers in the game becaise they knew the awesomeness in this sountrack

  • botchamania 196 had this JESUS!!!!

  • @TheSkywalker240 And that's why I'm here too!

  • @ACinthemaking I can understand the anger. This passionate song elicited angry toward Kaptain K. Rool and the kremlings for all the crap they put the Kongs through. Those bastards!

  • This is practically the apex of video game music right here. This is easily one of the best, most beautiful, most emotionally moving songs of any game not only on the SNES, but any game PERIOD. It's great that this music is so moving and peaceful, too, because the levels in which it plays are pure platform HELL. This music at least calms your nerves enough that you might not snap your controller in two in frustration.

  • @PsychoBurgundy3 well ya. most of the brilliant video game music composers don't create music for a living anymore. look at the music from Final Fantasy Tactics...it is the best video game music since 1998...in fact, it is probably the best video game music ever made, and it was on PS1! Hitoshi Sakimoto rules

  • So sad!

  • I think its sad ppl like call of duty, and halo over games like donkey kong country, mother, sonic (the old 2d ones), etc. Ya kow, the ga,es i can actually call a form of art

  • @masaaki221 That's what the world has come to.

  • In truth,

  • When I was a kid playing this, I would load the level and just sit there doing nothing, just to listen to this song. Nearly a perfect song to just chill and relax to.

  • @soulofmen Me too! :)

  • Video games should be fun and inspiring... Today most games are to competitive..

  • Just close your eyes for a second and try to imagine all of this.

You're in a world where EVERYTHING is peacful and full of bliss. You are floating in the sky with the people you love and you are just having the greatest time ever in your life. All you can see is the beautifal nature around you such as trees, falling leaves, and of course, brambles. This is what this song reminds me of. Such an amazing song. Please Like this for others to feel what we all feel.

  • Pro tip:

Step one: Hit the pause button for this video

Step two: got to rainymood . com

Step three: Hit play button for Stickerbrush Symphony

(brought to you by tips for free "T4F")

  • La mejor melodia que tiene este excelente juego!!!!!!!!!

  • I like how this is the first result when you type in vgm.

  • Great song to blast while your on the freeway at night blazed outta your mind shits a trip lol

  • @KnarKnarSicky

word, all these dkc tracks are good to burn too

  • I searched VGM

  • lol I think this might be the inspiration Bruce falconer had when he was doing dbz songs...

  • over 9000 son

but donkey kong country .. the original number 1 ,,, holy shit man

  • Is there any way I can make this loop?

  • @zeekyblahIV put "repeat" after youtube on the url. :D

  • NOSTALGIA hits me for 9000....

  • i'm gonna do a comment in spanish:ES UNA HOBRA MAESTRA ESATA MELODIA.

  • Diddy's Kong Quest? o_O

  • @diddykong0123 It's Kong-Quest, so the "Diddy's" is just the first name i guess you could say. I was baffled too when you pointed it out, but if you look at the screen, you'll see the dash that connects Kong and Quest.

  • @LAnimeMaster A better way to say it would be that it's a clever play on words; Diddy's Kong-Quest meaning "Diddy's conquest" but also that he partakes in a 'quest' to free Donkey 'Kong' plus he's a 'Kong' himself.

  • So nostalgic....

  • This song makes me feel sad, happy and angry at the same time.

  • @ACinthemaking I could be completely wrong, but I'm guessing you're sad because of the striking nostalgia, happy because it reminds you of the great times you had with this classic, and angry because no matter what, you cannot truly relive these priceless childhood moments. (Well at least, this is how I feel :P)

  • @ACinthemaking lay of the crack for a while.

  • @ChildMoleastor69 Heroin...

  • @ACinthemaking why angry?

  • @ACinthemaking Why does it make you feel angry?

  • @PsychoBurgundy3 Sorry, dont talk to Bronys.

  • @ACinthemaking Well, there goes what little feigned concern for your feelings I had.

  • @ACinthemaking so true..

  • This makes me feel teary. It's so beautiful.

  • When I played this game for the first time I couldn't even talk clear. I could barely stand up.. This game means so much to my childhood :)

  • I would so sleep over that song, its so amazing it must remind good childhood memories to the DKC2 fans

  • @LugiaTheGreatBeast I mean, the song is so sweet :3

  • This alone is reason enough why I just can't appreciate current gaming as much as the old school stuff. Something as simple as music brings back so many memories for me! Games have gotten too Hollywood these days. I'll play my SNES and Genesis over PS3 and 360 ANY day!

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 I know the feeling, one of my friends brought over a 64 and i having had one jumped at the thought of playing one again. i severely miss playing games for an unforgettable story.

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 Sad part is you only think that because you grew up with this game.

I did to, love the song.

But that doesn't mean the music is better then it is today, lots of kids of today will look back at the music in todays games.

    It's just nostalgia.

Just look at your grandparents, I bet they say all the music of today sucks and the music of their age was better.

    It's the same thing.

  • @ChaosBW OR I could think that because I appreciate good music. lol Believe me when I say I understand the psychology of memories very well and for me thats not the case. As far as music at least. I know theres good music nowadays but its few and far between. I said "hollywood" because most of it is just atmospheric sounds or standard movie type orchestral pieces. Which is amazing stuff, just not something Im looking for in a video game.

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 I grew up with NES and SNES. In 10 years whenever i hear some old sinatra im going to think of fallout. Nothing has changed, except there are a lot more bad games because of the popularity of gaming. This also means there is MORE GOOD GAMES too. Appreciate what is there before its too late!

  • @sk8er4ever0101 First I must say, that was a bad example to use. I dont need Fallout to remember Sinatra. lol But I agree, only to some extent. I do appreciate current gaming but not as much. I think its just that games, for me, just arent as memorable as the stuff of yesteryear. Today's games just lack originality and creativity. I mean, most protagonist are just normal humans. When I grew up it was monkeys, dinosaurs, bats, aliens. And honestly which is easier to remember? =]

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 meh. There is a lot of non Hollywood games that come out on a regular basis. Lots with memorable music as well. They are just not as popular.

  • @AP3Brain Hence why I said I can't appreciate current gaming. The fact that good, unique games get pushed aside while standard Hollywood stuff gets all the attention.

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 truer words have never been spoken

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 i would say that instead of current music in games it should be anything not nintendo because even now nintendo is the only game company to give catchy music in their games

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 I agree....

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 Indeed

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 Seems a little shortsighted to me. It's like you only value the game due to its age rather than any artistic value or quality.

  • @jimbob3332 I will prompt you with your own comment.

  • @oddvoid Wait, what?

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 BS!! while i will admit i get nostalgia from this soundtrack, it doesn't mean going "Hollywood" is bad like the Mass Effect series or Metal Gear Solid series. This game is a masterpiece but not the only one out there.

  • @JohnnyCrimson2000 atleast brawl whas good (i liked the version of this theme alot but the original stays the best)

  • I still have the game for Game Boy :)

  • THE BEST

  • Rare, you were the best of Nintendo's old generation.

Rest in peace, you glorious, glorious company. We knew you well.

  • obrigado Rare. volta pra nintendo.

  • I cry every time i here this song. I think i had the greatest moments of my life while listening to this song, and playing DK2. Whats sad is that i might never relive those moments ever again. i hope i can, one day...

  • This was and still is my favorite song of the DKC series and possibly Nintendo! Here's my own remix of it. Tell me what you all think! I'm open for criticism, lol.

    watch?v=vHqclsNkdrE&feature=channel_video_title

  • David Wise......Where have you gone!?!? VG music nowadays is SHEEIT! Return us to the golden days of gaming....

  • Fuck new gen. I still got my snes and play DKC!! I can never forget DK, its part of my childhood.

  • Every time I hear this, I think of me and my father playing this together when i was a kid.....

Now he isn't on earth any more so i have to play this awesome game alone.....

    R.I.P

  • I... I really cried with this songs... Really, I cried...

  • @Emalcode I'm pretty sure the number isn't really the rating.

  • I hear this, and have Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" in my head with this...

Simply because of a mashup I heard using the two.

    :)

  • @MasterGamin Hmmm ok... Just confuses me as to why they have numbers after them then.

  • @dwilliams02 He lists them in order of which ones have been uploaded so he can keep track. The first one he uploaded is #1, the second one he uploaded is #2, etc.

  • This being only #71 is ridiculous. Top 10 material for sure.

  • I remember reaching the Bramble level for the first time. I was amazed at this music.

  • I like DK 2D classic game more than DK 3D game

This game funny and beautiful and Great music and SE

Legend of game at produce by RARE TEAM

  • A lot of things brought be here... My love of the franchise, a flare for this kind of music. Beauty in simplicity... Ponies. It doesn't matter, what matters is that we're all here together. Enjoy it for what it is.

  • RIP - Rare. My god did you churn out some massive hits. You used to do it right.

  • Definitely my #2 favorite track of all Donkey Kong Country, barely behind King K Rool's last boss theme in DKC1

  • Thumbs up if chaox brought you here.

  • what A peaceful and calming tune to ones own soul

  • play it again sam! ... er... supra!

    :)

  • Never realised it said Diddy's Kong Quest!! Always thought it said Diddy Kong's Quest!

  • @Cookie3666 whoa! same here! I thought it always said Diddy Kong's Quest. It must be because we were indulged in the depth of the game and its tranquil, yet amazing music.

  • When I grow up and have kids, Im breaking out my old SNES and making them begin gaming with classics such as this game.
