I traded in my copy of this game a while back, but was always iffy about that decision. Now I want it again, and it's out of print. One of the worst decisions I've ever made. Please, if you own this beautiful gem of a game, never let it go.
I never expected an RPG about the Wizard of Oz... What comes next? An RPG about Michael Jackson or about the Bible (Jesus Christ)...? But this RPG sounds good.
I hope this game gets released in the United States one day. I always believed that the setting of the Wizard Of Oz would make a really nice RPG, and this just proves it. :)
Uhhha you seriously believed it? for how long? I thought it was an odd idea but it is interesting. I'm liking the outside segments, and I like the wild arms series this developer makes. Now I only have to hear that there's some twist to the combat and I'm sold.
Yes, I do believe that the Wizard of Oz would make a good RPG. I've thought of that since I first learned the concepts of RPGs when I was much younger. Also, I agree with you. A twist in the battle scenes would add to the fun. :)
Yeah I agree the wizard of Oz, looking at this game, is a nice change of pace and scenery for an rpg. It looks like it'll give it an interesting asthetic. I'm just surprised you saw an rpg there. Since my main experience has been with the movie, I've never watched it and thought that.
Well, my first experience with the Wizard of Oz was also that famous movie by MGM, but the reason why I thought of it as an RPG was because of the way Dorothy met the other characters and had them join her, which is like "adding a teammate to your party" in a sense. :) I also thought about the enemies being the Flying Monkeys/Witch's Soldiers/Grumpy Trees, and maybe Apples could be healing items. Also, the Tin Man's axe could be like an equipped weapon, and he would have a high defense stat.

ho ho, looks like someone likes it in the back door, eh? Like to do a little pole-polishin' every now and then? Like to eat your hot dogs without the buns, huh? Take the occasional stroll through queer-ville huh? Swing the "other way" huh!? Fairy, fruit, fudge packer! sissy, nancy-boy, pansy, catcher, homo, queen, ass-pirate! LMFAO ...but on a serious note, please don't say "cunt". the word offends me. -_- That's just not cool man, think about other people's feelings...
