thank you sooo much. i have a dimensional analysis quiz tmorrow and i was really confused about how to convert big big stuff to little little stuff, and vice versa. thanks again
Dude, I must say thanks. You sound like you have lots of patience. My biology lab teacher was throwing this stuff at us. I'm really not sure what angle she was "teaching" this from, but I couldn't wait to get home and learn this at my own pace. I couldn't believe what you were doing in teaching. By the way, I like the close up rather than your new HD versions.
@flubberjibbel To change from meters to centimeters, we have to consider the relationship between meter and centimeter. We know that 1 m = 100 cm. Therefore, we need to set up the conversion factor as (1 m) / (100 cm). Hope this helps.
@PassUhFist It's my pleasure to teach you through the internet! Share this with your friends if they need help on dimensional analysis as well! Have a nice one!
wait man, i have a question... i thought u were supposed to multiply at the end? how can there be .127 cm in a meter?? i wanna know why you would divide instead of multiply?

I go to a math and science academy and my teacher has a doctorate, but I would rather have you as my teacher.

The 0.127m is the result of (5.00) (2.54) / (100).
We still have 100 cm in 1 m as you can see in the second conversion factor.
0.127m is the equivalent of 5.00 inches.
