Yes; Stompin' Bill is awesome. He's a great guy too! We appreciate the positive comments and we are glad you stopped by and listened to The Tu-Tones: Texas' Favorite Two-Man Band.
I love this song... I first heard this on Sonny Terry's record "Whoopin' ". I think I have an old vinyl LP with John Lennon doing this song too... better go dig it out...

It's great to have you stop by and listen to The Tu-Tones.
"Ya-Ya" is a great Lee Dorsey tune and we perform it often during our live shows.
Please stop by anytime to listen again.

YA YA is a LEE DORSEY song, I'M A LOVER NOT A FIGHTER is LAZY LESTER's most well-known song - certainly not Ya Ya if he should have recorded it!

You are correct and I stand corrected. I knew who wrotethis song, but made a mistake. I'm sure it won't be the last either.
I'm glad to brought this to my attention.
Thanks for stopping by and listening to The Tu-Tones. All the best from Texas!

I am not sure if LEE DORSEY wrote or co-wrote it or only was the first singer who performed it.
Have a nice weekend

remember this song as a little kid. the harp player reminds me of the late, great Sam Meyers.

Thanks for the very nice comment.
Sam Meyers was a friend and a great performer. We miss him a lot.
