Explain this one to me...A 5th generation mormon and "SHE" say's the book of mormon is "FALSE" are you going to call Sandra Tanner a liar? she is a "direct decendent of J. Smith! will you say she is a person who doesn't understand mormons? or Shawn McCraney who was LDS for "40 YEARS?" and if so what would they gain from it?.

The normal "christian" rhetoric other churches use to attack the LDS are becoming increasingly illogical and ignorant. I dare say the majority are not keeping up to date on what the bible scholarship (not just LDS) are saying. How can other churches answer the questions of Plurality of Gods, Exaltation of Man, and Pre-mortal Existence, found within the biblical text? Impossible. It's like talking to a child. They kick, scream, and repeat the same phrases as if repetition lends more validity.

Mark 6:1-3 say's he had brothers and sisters "in" a spiritual sense "not" bilogical because Jesus's father wasn't from earth, she became pregnant by the holy spirit, otherwise she would not have been a virgin when she gave birth. Mark:6:6

@JSeely218 No. How about you answer Isaiah 47:8-10 where Babylon is saying there is "None else(city) beside me". It is the same exact Hebrew as in Isaiah 44. "None Else Beside me" is not an indication that there is No OTHER City or God existent but that there is none Greater. It is a very common and ancient phrase that always denoted seniority and power not sole existent. Sorry.

Here's a verse for you..Isa:44:6: Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. can't get more blunt than that. This means there is only "ONE" God, "not god's" never was, never will be. There is "no" pre-existance. Man did not have a pre-esistance..JOHN:8:23: And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I think your title is appropriate !

No it absolutely does not mean that. Michael Heiser's Doctoral Dissertation refutes this particular interpretation. NOTHING in the context of Isaiah means what you interpret it to mean.

Do you belive Jesus Christ is God ? God came down to do a work of salvation, He had to be God because who else could but God could withstand the wrath of God and rise again? Jesus was God incarnate, Jesus does not have a brother. God's Character doesn't change. your church preaches another Jesus, one that's "NOT" Biblical and "HELL" does exist ! repent and ask for forgiveness, quit defending a "LIE" I don't attack you just your churches false doctrine.

I'm sure your a strong believer in mormonism and I can't argue a belief...however...if you wish to keep your head in the sand then I won't bother trying to tell you that the Bible supports it's own scripture and understanding scripture in it's "correct" context and believing that scriture "is" truth ( And the very word of GOD ) not man's fallible and mostly wrong interpretation of it such as JST he made it up and I know you can't ( Or ) won't see or belive it so good luck and GOD bless !

Its really amazing that if people really LOOK they will find that archeology supports Mormonism and brings it into a "possibility". Really great stuff =D

When I did my mission to Montreal in 1978, they had left the World Expo exhibits on display. One of the Central American exhibits had a large glass stone on display. I cannot remeber too much, but it struck me as a possibility connected with the Jaredite barges. I guess only Mormons would have made the connection. It was an amasing sight as the stone was smooth and rounded, elliptoid in shape and 6-8 inches along it's major axix. It would be interesting to see where this stone has ended up.
