  • Jay is the man!

  • Hey again. What the colours on the guitars called..?

  • @SenthysizzerYeah The colour is Blue Matteo with natural backs, one is slightly aged (naturally) :)

  • hey Jay, could you please make a guitar lesson of alive?!

  • what is it that the britts always have the best singing voice. thanks America, i could have a sweet British accent and an awesome singing voice, stupid revolution...... :)

  • Hey Jay, what ampifiler do you use, and how it is set?

    Greeting Mads..

  • @SenthysizzerYeah this was actually recorded through just a "waves" plug in on pro tools, pretty sure it was CLA guitar, however I use an Engl Powerball set: Gain - 9:00 Bass - 2:00 Middle - 2:30 Treble - 2:30 Pre Vol - 12:00 master vol - 9:30 presence - 10:00 deep punch - 2:30 (Channel 3 & 4, bottom mode on & focused contour on), I'm also using a Mesa Dual rec here n there :)

  • @Counterpointrock Many many thanks, I really thought you would not answer me, but look now, I'm a happy boy!

  • @Counterpointrock of and what tuning was the guitar in

  • @Counterpointrock (stupid question) with A# being the low e string, right.

  • @DReidGuitars Correct sir :)

  • @DReidGuitars yep :)

  • Great tone. I'd like to make a video soon of My SC245 with my ENGL. Monster combination. Much better(different) than the Marshall video of mine you've seen :)

  • I would like to see the return of the SC250 or the original Singlecut. There's actually no guitar left in the PRS arsenal that fits the modern rock/metal style anymore. All the focus goes to the classic sounding guitars with the new pickups. It's a sad thing they removed the HFS from the CU24 or took away the SC250 which WAS a very modern sounding rock guitar.

Shame on you PRS, same on you.

  • @Mathemoto They have the SC 58 still which is supposed to be an updated SC245. I haven't had a chance to play one yet :) Never know they may bring 245/250's back into production.

  • @Counterpointrock the SC58 is a very vintage sounding guitar. much more so than the SC245. It does suck. The old ones, like the two I have definitely are more modern sounding than new ones.

  • @Counterpointrock for the playing after 1:14 how is the guitars knobs and switch and what gauge strings was on it, and how was the amp set up. this band rocks!!!!!

  • Cool band but if you google "Counterpoint Music" you get 12.5 million hits. sort of hard to find just saying.

  • awesome guitar..mann..!

  • What a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful guitar...

  • Great guitar man. you have incredible tone, i totally agree with you btw, i just bought an sc245 25th anniversary in satphire sunburst (the blue to black burst) with the 57/08 pups in it and its fantastic, Your band has a great sound, im glad i stumbled onto this !!!!

  • @Newbyrock23 Cheers man really appreciate it! 245's all the way! Let's bring them back to production!!!

  • @Counterpointrock worst mistake they ever made was to cut em out, but the revolution has begun. Keep the vids comming, any plans for a US tour?

  • @Counterpointrock oh and one more thing, what were the pickups in the second guitar that u picked up

  • @DReidGuitars hey dude to answer everything at once, my guitars are always on full (tone, volume) and almost always on treble pick up. The strings are 11-49 and the tuning is A#, G#, C#, F#, A#, D#. All my SC245's have stock pick ups in them "245 pick-up" that comes with the guitar and made by PRS.

  • @Counterpointrock i know i becoming a pain in the butt, but what are the exact settings on the amp and what amp are you using. you see I am a tone freak, I search high and low for different tones, help the cause Jay, you'll know you want to. LOL!!!!!!!!!

  • @DReidGuitars someone already asked this question :) .... "this was actually recorded through just a "waves" plug in on pro tools, pretty sure it was CLA guitar, however I use an Engl Powerball set: Gain - 9:00 Bass - 2:00 Middle - 2:30 Treble - 2:30 Pre Vol - 12:00 master vol - 9:30 presence - 10:00 deep punch - 2:30 (Channel 3 & 4, bottom mode on & focused contour on), I'm also using a Mesa Dual rec here n there"
