I just wanna say that (spoiler) Snape killed Dumbledore becasue he asked him to and it was his plan that malfoy disarm his wand so that Voldemort wouldnt ever find out who the real holder of the Elder Wand was and Snape dieing wasnt really supposed to happen its just the dark lord would not let him go get harry and harry wouldnt of trusted him any way and sry but he did not kill Dumbledore to protect Malfoy whoever thinks that needs to reread it

Dumbledore, in the end, was still being the Headmaster and wanted to protect a student from making a truly irreversible choice. If Malfoy had indeed done the job, at the end of the war, he would have been thrown into Azkaban forever. Dumbledore did not wish this upon him, and it was easier to pin it on Snape anyways
