Pisses me off when people turn a boxing match into an excuse to make stupid religious or racist comments ,just comment on the damn boxing. Hamid was a very good fighter but not great,I'm sure part of the reason he retired was that he realised that,and also he wasn't prepared to put in the work it would take to compete against the great fighters.

They both got some big punches in on eachother at times, 1:34 must have really hurt, but even there I can see Hamed's effort to glance it.. But Hamed's ability to roll off punches just doesn't seem human. 2:06 is just madness. And his footwork and weaving staying so crisp all the way up into round 12 speaks to how how little damage he got in his body.

A lot of punches are glazing punches and even when they land they don't do much damage because defensive geniuses like Hamed knows how to deflect most of your power from the point of impact. i have followed both these boxers careers and i believe both in their prime, in their best fighting shape, Hamed will k.o Barerra. This fight Hamed is just not focused he looked unintrested from the get go but look at his fights with Sanchez and Kelly, if that Hamed showed up Marco would have no chance, too bad he didn't and he got his ass kicked but when Hamed turned up the gear, when he was focused he was amazing to watch.
