I like the atractor skill in this game, it drives the unsaved lemmings to destraction and makes them go "follow the leader" on on you.

Some of the levels use completely diffrent music in some ports. For example, the origenal sounding tune from the outdoor tribe was replaced by a piano version of country gardens when this game was ported to the snes.

This has always been my fave lemmings. i like this style best, not the 3D versions etc, these ones are better

Just nitpicking a little here, but what is the difference between the stomper and digger? They seem to go at exactly the same speed and make the same size hole. The only difference is the animation while the lemming is doing it. At lease the club basher and scooper differ from the basher and miner respectively in that they make bigger holes, and the scooper's gradient is slightly more than the miner's. And of course the fencer makes a slight incline. But the stomper and digger?

Of course the Highland Lemmings are pallete swapped to be made ginger. :P ..is that a phonebox that they use as an exit? o.O

@Neotails8762 yeah i think its supposed to be the old style telephone boxes scotland is famous for. BT red phone boxes

Of all of the 'classic' graphic styles from the first game, why did they pick the Egyptian style one, when they already had a level with that theme? They should have gone for the good old grass and mud one.

Id have to disagree with you there, I wouldve picked the hell or the wierd laboratory one (The one where the water was a slime green)

At least they didn't include ANOTHER version of we all fall down!

It was around the time of this games release that Lemmings became the my primary schools library mascot for a short time, I distinctly remember a picture of the space tribe lemming then next to it all the book references, yet I think I was the only kid who played lemmings!

I remeber the classic level being called "The boring old norwegian lemmings" in Amiga User when the game came out!!

hehe the clown level at 28 mintues in, it doesn't really have a challenge, it's just fun to watch them bounce :]

personally, i agree with you that this really isn't worthy of a lemmings sequel, they don't die when they fall, so part of the challenge is lost, and the new skills just complicate things. But, the color change for floater/climber is quite useful i think.

they do die when they fall from great height. but when it's a mid height, they just get stunned
