thanks mateyy!:) if u ever want to goto carstairs which can be very good u get the train to lanark then the wee bus number 137 the bus sits right outside lanark station at the wee bus station takes about 15 mins to get to carstairs

i wish:P i cannae get there on time for it earliest train leaves glasgow central at 7.05am to carstairs

What about gettin an eary train to lanark and then the bus

nah cos the earliest train in my area is 6.40am anyways couldnt be bothered just for that one thing

Those 225s look like their about to stop. I wonder why they slow dramatically when approaching Carstairs like that.

But yeah, great video. I'd love to stand at Carstairs and film but not many trains stop at there :(

there is a 15mph limit on the line the 91's go on that is why

yeah i had to get a train to lanark from glasgow central then a 137 bus to carstairs

at least lanark bus station is next door to the railway station anyways

takes about 10/15 mins on bus from lanark btw

yeahh:) i forget that the connector line is actually called it only used for traffic to goto the ECML tho ..back years ago the intercity trains used to actually stop at carstairs and split the train in half one half would goto edingburgh the other half would goto glasgow central

oh aye and a couple of north berwick class 322's use that connector also a day the only trains that actually stop at carstairs apart from one voyager in the morning i believe

thanks voxrail!:) it sure is just as well it took me 2 trains a bus to get there! only about 2 train each way stop all day there

its very good for the 91s esp! cos they use that turn off (15mph speed limit) ..where the 91 goes of and comes on btw is where they go off the wcml to travel to the ecml
