  • Simply beautiful. I've heard several different arrangements of this piece (mostly SATB), this is the first I've heard for an all-male ensemble. Great, full sound. Kudos to the countertenors...

  • He's gonna be my all state ttbb conductor! Woo hoo!

  • the king's singers are incredible. how they create such a full sound with so few men amazes me.

  • This is beyond words....

  • What can I say...

It's awesome and beautiful. I wish I had the same quality in my voice, such as the bass solist...

  • its all in the singing technique and emotional connection to the music. believe me, you can sound that good with practice

  • no other word I could come up with other than beautiful. I own about 12 of their albums and still can't get enough of them.

  • it is just simply impossible to rate something that can not be compared.

  • who is the composer of this piece? and if this is an arrangement of the original who is the arranger?! it is impossible to rate something that can not be compared...

  • scottieTbone, it's John Rutter.

  • I am so proud to currently sing under the first soloist! Go Professor Crouch!

  • haha!

i just finished a masterclass with him in brisbane; you're VERY lucky to have him so regularly!

  • Simply amazing.

  • very beautiful! I'd like to hear em in the "beata virginae mass" by Josquin Desprez.

  • Amazing! Is there a countertenor in there somewhere?

  • 2 countertenors, 1 tenor, 2 baritones and 1 bass

  • this is the most spiritually stimulated ive been in a long while, thank you so much!

  • The choir of King's College, Cambridge (England) is one of the finest church choirs anywhere in the world. They sing to this standard every day. These six guys are typical of the sort of countertenors, tenors, baritones and basses that make up the choir of King's. They also teach boys aged 8 - 13 how to sing reliably at this level. It's quite a miracle place! Thanks for posting this video - it is really sublime.

  • This is perfect, u can't get better.

  • you are to die for!!!! I am in love with you all... greetings to Robyn whom I went to RCM with!!!

  • Uh haha that and the fact that they originally all went to King's College in England together.

  • actually, all but one of them were from king's college. but you would be right in saying that they named themselves after king's college in cambridge, england.

  • In fact, only the tall countertenor (2nd from left) was ever at King's Cambridge. The other five are the cream of professional church/cathedral choirs in the UK.

  • Paul Phoenix went to St Paul's.

  • This is why they are called The King's Singers!

  • This is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard!

  • Simply amazing! They sound like a choir of angels...

  • they ARE angels.....

  • Lovely doesn't even begin to describe this arrangement. Thank you for posting.

  • incredible, absolutely sublime!!!

  • Gorgeous arrangement!
