@sourmanofcoal HEY FUCKTARD!!!!!! This was like over 4 years ago now, I have been home since oct 2009. Maybe watch the rest of my vids, or just read some of the other comments. Fucking dimwit. At least I am good enough to tell people about some of the negative aspects of working there.
So do you need a BA to teach in China? I have an Associates from a technical school. If I can teach in China where could I teach and could I get a good salary?
More advice from people not happy about being in China, go to ESLcafe and share your advice with all the other unhappy foreigner! I have two brothers in China on in Hangzhou and in Beijing I'll be in Shenyang in august. they work in private schools as will I. They have no problems with getting their pay. Here's some good advice live in China if you can live as a Chinese, if not keep your spoiled ass in the usa. My Brothers are handsome so maybe its just the girls that keep them happy. Your EMO
I am stating what I have experienced, and frankly I have no intention what so ever of living like a Chinese person. I'm not Chinese, I am simply here doing a job as an expatriot. I actually had no intention of staying here past a year, however a girl talked me into staying. I find that is why many people stay. And usualy only long enough to get married, then get a visa for her and then go home.
@goemonronin My comment was in response to someone called ducky747. He doesn't understand the difference between your and you're, so I purposely made the same mistake in my comment
Your video has given me a wealth of information on what to look out for when I leave for China! Thanks. It is very likely that I will be placed in a middle school to teach........however I notoiced that you said it ain't a wise choice!!!! are there any other things I should look out for should I be placed in one these places!!!
MIddle schools can be a little rough to teach at, but you are goin gto get a lot more time off working inside the chinese school system rather than the english learning system. So overall your teaching will be harder but more off time.
I taught in a middle school in Shanghai. Was pretty good because it was private school. Good video and good advice. I also had the dreaded stomach problems you mention, i couldn't drink a cup of water without seeing it again in half hour tops lol, awful stuff.
There were some things I was going to tell you to include when I watched this video a week ago, but I've forgotten at this point. Maybe I'll tell you the next time you come over if I remember.
YANKE GO HOME! YANKE GO HOME! NOW!

All schools in China are private, they have no compulsory public education.
