I like how the brass had a nice warm sound with good tone. Very Nice (I'm a trumpet player) ;)

I think the solos could have had more scalewise motion and articulation to keep it interesting. Kind of got boring after a while. Also, the second trumpet soloist sounded like he was rushing. Third trumpet was pretty nice though. ;)

not too bad. but i personally feel like the drums were way too heavy, especially at the beginning. and i dont think that the soloists could feel the pulse from the rhythm section. they were giving them a steady pulse, but i dont think they clicked.

So fluffy. Not that this is bad, but next time slow it down, and get dirty with it. Saxes make those things growl and bone section, belt out the main lines. Trumpets....get some energy. I though trumpets had the ego and I hear them the least.

I play 1st trombone for my School Jazz Band, and we rock with this song. It one of our favourite songs to play, but We have a kinda different score than this one. there is more to do for the trombones specially. they don't have the trombone solo in it either!o.O

But I still think it could of been quite a bit fatser.

I would say that it depends on what you are used to. i have played low brass my whole career and i picked up a coronet which is supposed to be harder and i learned crazy train in less than 5 minutes. so it really depends.

Yeah, I agree with Chabo555, it depends on how much experience you've had. I played the trumpet part recently with my swing band and had no difficulty at all. By the way, awesome band and very well played!
