@hallasurf yes, people get slammed against the jetty during big swells like these. Most of the time there is a death once a year. in 2011 some teenagers were caught in a rip current and one escaped alive but the other was never seen again.
at 4:20 you see the guy cheering then about 5 seconds laters get thrown over never to be seen again >.<
