  • in Indonesia, nyonya / Ny. or Mrs. (married woman), nona / Nn. or Miss (unmarried woman) , Indonesia is one of the world's largest country, with more than 350 native languages, more than 300 tribes and more than 17000 islands. So much peoples in the world like / love Indonesia, especially if you ever come to Indonesia.

  • @intagip

it based on Portuguese old song called "jingle nona"

that song has been bought to tanah melayu in the glorious era in malacca..

until now some of the Portuguese heir in malaysia sang that song and it become thier culture..

you must admit that "nona" aren't from your country language my friend

i wanna ask you something my friend, what do you call for fork in indonesian languange?

    (^_^)

  • hmm.. know you are learning... good.

"Jingle Nona" means the ninth jingle. and even this "nona" word is from the original word "nono" in Portuguese.

    Let's listen this song.

"Lihat nona dari jauh" will you translate "Look the ninth from distance"

is that what you mean? ouw that's smart...

then you will translate again: "Lihat kesembilan dari jauh, rasa sayang sayange"

  • @intagip

    huhuhuhu

i must admit that you have brilliant brains inside your head my friend

    excellent..(*0*)

so where did the "nona" word from?

    is it really from indonesia?

    tell me my friend..

i like you to answer it first before i explain more..

    (^_^)

  • Why I must admit that "nona" is from Portuguese.

Indonesia has own word to describe something. Other country as well. In Portuguese "nona" means ninth, while Indonesia "nona" means girl. Maybe in other language nona has different meaning too..

so what is the problem here?

we have our own right to describe something with the word.

  • after years and until now

this matter are still be the hot issue among malaysians and indonesians

i like to make a correction to a mistake that have been made by our friends from indonesia..

"nona" are the word from Portuguese language

not from maluku or other part from indonesia

  • as I know to call girl in Portuguese is:

garota, menina, filha, namorada, aluna, criada

I can't find "nona" in Portuguese dictionary, but I find it in Indonesian Dictionary.

  • @intagip

you can do some more research my friend

and i don't say it means "cewek" or "gadis"

using google translate u can find the mening

no need to open any dictionary

    huhuhuuhhu

    (^_^)

  • you are the one who need a research, because I give an argument base on my finding. Next is your argument to give what have you found.

so.. explain what is "nona" means in Portuguese, and relate it with this song.

Prove that the meaning of "nona" is not girl..!! as your responsibility of giving the statement above.

  • @workingclassknight you right we are absorbing bangku (Portugis: banco) bendera (Portugis: bandeira) bola (Portugis: bola) boneka (Portugis: boneca) dansa (Portugis: dança) ganco (Portugis: gancho) garpu (Portugis: garfo) gereja (Portugis: igreja) jendela (Portugis: janela) keju (Portugis: queijo) kemeja (Portugis: camisa) kertas (Portugis: carta(s) = surat-surat) meja (Portugis: mesa)

     pesta (Portugis: festa)

  • @Felish85 actually kertas came from the arabic word of karatas : kertas ..

  • i love to read this debate. especially to friends who answering the malaysian with smart argument. it more to show that indonesia is not as they think like their news told them about us in their local media.

but we must say thanks to the dutch, because without their documentary we have no prove about lots of our history. not just about the rasa sayange song..

    great debate,

    respect !

  • tak usaklah kite perkarakan Malaysie.. negara keccil itu bukan level kite

  • kalau perang hancur kalian....senjata pn belum canggih ada hati mau perang dgn kami.kalau indonesia kuat sudah lama dia hancurkn kapal perang malaysia ketika ceroboh ,tapi indo x berani, takut nanti jadi perang besar..kalah bangsa indonesia nanti..malu.

  • We are peace country, as Islam teach everything can be done by "Musyawarah" not war or attack.

Look at the number and skills, technology is not important during war.

Afganistan vs Russia for example, Russia with the 2nd most advance technology loose with afganistan with just poor country. Think that dude...

  • "the next is "nona" word which is obviously used by Indonesian especially Maluku to call girl.

Malay people doesn't have this word in their language. They only have "puan" to call a girl."

SETUJU BANGET!

    DASAR NEGARA MALING!

    GAK TAU MALU!

  • for tou all malaysian !

do not believe all your media and press saying !

they are controlled by malaysian goverment yang bodoh !

    research yourself !

  • malaysial (MALINGSIAL ) is teroris people.your goverment can export TERORIS only

  • indongsial..jangan luk pikirin macam-macam,

    seringkali negara lu ditimpa musibah

    siapa sih yang firstmenghulur bantuan..

    malaysia deh.

  • ya ya ya.. thanks for the aid, but thanks also for your terrorist... finally he killed by police.

anyway, the first aid is come from our government with "Tanggap Darurat" programme, the first foreign aid was come from Australia, then America then your country.

hmm.. looks you are "RIYA" (islamic term) when you say that....

  • This is the PROVE!! THIS IS A SONG RELATED TO THE DUTCH EAST-INDIES so it is DUTCH - INDONESIAN SONG or also called ORANG INDO! tidak orang indonesia

  • how can u say that.

let say I come to your country, I tell the story by create a movie and using your song. Can I say the song is Mycountry-yourcountry?

I cant because I am using your country right..?

same this with this folk song which is from Indonesia.

  • our country is reach with culture, malingsial is reach with TERORIS.you were not supposs to promote tourism but TERORISM

  • Don't be a retard. Netherlands occupied Indonesia for over 350 years, before they lost it to Japan. They used this song from Maluku, or Mollucas as a background music for their video. It's not dutch-indonesian. It's Indonesian.

It's a shame that Malaysian government has to use an Indonesian song to promote their tourism. Why can't you use a song that's clearly from Sabah or Serawak?

  • malaysia e'e

    bisanya cuman nyolong

    dasar maling

  • THIS SONG IS INDONESIA SONG. NOT MALINGSIA SONG.. malingsia is plagiat.. !

  • kita kena saling hormat menghormati satu sama lain!!!!

  • Don't you guy learn from history? rasa sayang song is not Indonesian song nor Malay song. It's originated from the Portugese when they came to Malacca.

Everyone at that period speaks almost the same either you are from Indonesia or Malaysia.

By the way, we never disrespect the Indonesian, it's you guy that came here and behave and act as if this is your home town. What if we go there and act like that. Can you live with that??

  • give me the source of what you say.....

    don't simply say without responsible......

    do you know your country...?

the criminal done by Indonesian in Malaysia is just 3%

the highest is your people (Malaysian). There is one case that Rexy (Indonesian badminton coach) had been robe by kelantan guy.....

but the sad thing is the police report to media that the crime was done by Indonesian.

Just cross in my mind that it is possible that 3% is just your police's claim, not the fact.

  • hahah who said that ?

    your press media ?

FACT : your media is controlled by the government. they can publicize ONLY the so called great news about your corrupt govern !

FACT : malaysian people are only interested in criminal news ! see the newspaper !

FACT : all criminals act is pointed to INDONESIAN people !

FACT : but, criminal action by INDONESIAN is only 3% !

  • bukan indonesia tapi rumpun nusantara, bodoh frog testicles penjilat silid belanda! kenapa mau agungkan penjajah...bodoh.. kamu mau belanda mematenkan lagu tu ya!

  • hey.. Dutch is clever, I admit that, because they can make a movie to tell the story of Indonesia at that time.

to movie and to make it interesting they are using that folk song, and EVEN they are only use it, not CLAIM it.

not like your government who claim that the origin of this song is from your country.

  • This is the proof "rasa sayange"is Indo song, not MALON song.

  • bodoh... always with their crap ancestor...

  • comment without argument is "bodoh"

what makes this video is "bodoh"?

    answer me...!!

if our ancestor is "bodoh", then you too...

because we are from same ancestor.

  • hiduup indonesiaaaa

  • hey... rakyat malaysia tak bersalah!!!!

jangan salahkan mereka... salahkan their stupid goverment employees.... they are stupid lazy dumb ass. asal main comot aja tanpa ada penelitian terlebih dahulu... so.. be smart... bukan rakyat malaysia yg salah dan bodoh.. tapi pegawai pemerintah malaysia yg tolol.

  • batik, lagu, trus bhs indonesia...entar apa lagi nih yg mau malay comot .. ampun dah abis aja dah negara kita ( Indonesia ) .. Oh iya klo silat , peci , baju koko itu gimana tu...

  • hidup indonesia

  • Oh great! They've gain control over Indonesia's natural resources, stole them and brought them all the way back to the Netherlands and now the Dutch is stealing the Rasa Sayang song.

  • haloo.... dont be stupid la....

if you documented a country (let say French) by creating a movie, do u use malay song in that movie? No right...

if u smart enough, u will use French song as the music background.

It is same with this Insulinde.

Anyway, eventhough Dutch steeling Indonesian resources, they dont claim rasa sayange as their song, they only use it.

    Not like your government....

  • this dutch movie was made in malaysia you dick head!

  • another one stupid guy here.....

is Batavia in Malaysia...? don't claim Batavia is in malaysia man... you already claim rasa sayange song....

    if u said so...

any source...? please let me know....

  • Suru 1.5 Juta Indon PTI Di Malaysia pulang bikin samak sahaja.

  • hey u..

Malaysian government will never let Indonesian leave Malaysia, If it happen, Malaysia will collapse. U know why...?

I guess u never know that, because u comment like that...

I suggest u should seek the truth.. so many Indonesian make Malaysia grows...

We don't expect your thanks, but at least u respect Indonesian.

  • I Love Indonesia

  • Bravo Indonesia, Malaysian people is really stupid, they just insulting Indonesian people here and just make the problem longer.

  • ko la stupid

    babi,bodoh,haram jadah,pukimak,sial

  • one of stupid person that doesn't care of reality.

  • Such a pretty country... maybe someday visit it.

  • Bravo Indonesia.

  • correction: malay archipelago does not cover malaysia only, but also indonesia, brunei, singapore, malaysia, southern thailand and philippines. it's basically another term for the 'nusantara' region.

  • to mjay22

correction: Term of Nusantara doesn't come from Malaysia. But it comes from a book written by guru who lives in Majapahit Kingdom in East Java. The book is named NEGARAKERTAGAMA.

    This is my little translation:

Bagai titisan Dewa-Batara beliau menyapu duka rakyat semua. Tunduk setia segenap bumi Jawa bahkan seluruh nusantara.

Just like God Batara, the King(Hayam Wuruk) wipes all of people tears. Whole of Java island and event Nusantara happily bows to the King.

  • Say whatever you want. No matter, it won't change my mind that Rasa Sayange belongs to the Malay/Indonesian region regardless of the nation.

  • what ?

malaysia is not an achipelagic country mate..

Indonesia is.. we have thousands of islands.

is that clears up the obstacles ?

and nusantara refer to the area of archipelago of INDONEIA

  • you've made your point, intagip, and i don't like it when both indonesians & malaysians make a fuss over who should solely own copyrights to the sing. since that this very popular song it has been sung in the malay language, let's just say "rasa sayang" or "rasa sayange" belongs to the nusantara region - i.e. indonesia, malaysia, brunei, singapore, southern thailand and possibly southern philippines, and should therefore be trademarked for that particular region.

  • Ok.. I can agree with that,,,

do u know the real problem?

Malaysia claim that the origin of this folk song is from there and they says Indonesia could not claim ownership of this song.

But actually the origin of this song is from Maluku Indonesia.

What we do not agree is Malaysia do not admit that this is from Indonesia. Thats all.

Anyone can sing this song, but to respect lets admit this is from Indonesia.

  • Maluku melanesia you mean!!!

  • no.. not melanesia, but Molucan means Maluku people which is in Indonesia.

  • I agree with you, intagip, Malaysia is a faggot country that always steal other country art, and they not changed the "nona" to "puan", Malayfaggot.

  • i dont understand how this prove the origin of this song.. but I also think the song is originated from indonesia.. but then again, who cares.. ? The song sucks anyway.. :)

  • sucks ??

    sucks for you !!

    great for me !!

  • I agree. This is not about pergaduhan or turning to other many problems. This is about claiming and stealing the right of other. If Malaysia treasures moral value well, please acknowledge and admit that "RASA SAYANGE" belongs to the people of Maluku. It is not complicated, right?

  • Oh lagi satu , mengapa nak kutuk orang malaysia ? common men, we are one people, we are malayo-polynesian.Kita satu rumpun bangsa.

  • sorry for that, its because they are too angry. for myself, I am not blame to Malaysian, I am just correcting the wrong thing. its need to be corrected so that it won't be any misunderstanding among us.

Anyway I heard Opposition has won in the election, hope there will be no propaganda of superiority and controlled media or news which makes separation among us.

    its better to be honest...

    Thanks..

    regards from Indonesian..

  • okay, i am Malaysian and I agree with you that our government is using propaganda to claim their superiority over Indonesia. But still, I love the song till today and I give credit to my Melanesian bros, the Maluku people , for that song. And thanks for correcting us for the song. One more thing, I am impressed how the maluku people refer themselves as "beta" instead of "aku" while the sultans in Malaysia only have the right to refer themslef with that word.

  • thanks...

I like people who admit the truth.

Even Indonesian, we love this song and u can always sing it anywhere, anytime u like it, every people in the world can sing this song, there is no restriction.

But at least respect the origin of this song by admitting the Molucan people (Indonesian) who compose this song.

  • About "Beta" it is commonly use by Molucan to call "aku" or "saya", we have so many language and even sometimes there is same word which has different meaning in different tribe in Indonesia.

  • for example, "gue" is used in the Batavian language, and etc.

  • Malingsia keterlaluan Hah!

    Diklaim taun 2007.

  • bodohnya pergaduhan hanya kerana sebuah lagu.. walhal masih banyak lagi perkara besar yang patut diambil perhatian.. suntuk pemikiran!

  • who is stupid now?

The people who claiming other belonging?

    or

the people who giving prove that it is his belonging?

    or

the people who r trying to run from the problem after proved his guilty?

    so u can decide

  • hahahahha

no malaysian are replying to this comments. they'r speechless seeing this video. a video that has proved that this song is originated from indonesia.

ashamed of stealing indonesia's culural heritage huh?

  • Malaysia Imitasi, bagaimana mereka bisa ciptakan lagu? Tahun limapuluhan saja mereka masih minta bantuan jasa pendidikan/ guru dari Indonesia. And juga mana ada sejarahnya orang Belanda/Dutch menceritakan tentang Malaysia they hate Malaysia because they loose the deal with British....

  • Ini baru bukti kalo lagu Rasa Sayange milik Indonesia. Lagipula, di dalam Al Quran ada sebuah ayat yang melarang pembajakan.

  • ok lah..

  • ya betul sekali saudara2 se bangsa.lagu ini adalah lagu bangasa indonesia asal daerah maluku-ambon.aduhhhh lagu orang indonesia-maluku kok!!!!!

  • NGENTOOT MALAYSIAAA....

  • Malaysia use this song "rasa sayange (not rasa sayang hey)" and claim that this is Malaysian song. and the government said "Indonesia will never prove that this is belong to Indonesia.

By this video, it proves that "rasa sayange" is Indonesian folk song which originally from Molucan or Maluku People.
