I think they lacked a few very strong powermovers.

They had VERY NICE style, and GREAT SHOWs.

But if you look at crews like mortal kombat, turn phrase crew or all area crew you will see that these have some really powerful powermovers, and this requires a lot of training.

Anyway, big respect to the ichigeki crew members! They brought a totally new element into the game and I think we can see why korea and japan is so good at modern bboying.

OK to call me ignorant is a bit out of hand and to give me a history check between 2 races is a bit of topic. I said "who cares about their race" because this is about bboying and Bboying is not about ethnicity competition at all, I'm not ignorant or not cultured ( i study my roots and become well aware of my surrounding with others and their cultures) . Bboy is hip-hop and hip-hop does not discriminate or compare or go war/fight w/ anything at all.

To represent your nation is cool, but to compete on race with another, is ridiculously ignorant. When i say "who cares?" i mean why care? (in bboy terms). Either way, why care of their race? since every individual should be cared from their character and meaning.

Prove you wrong? Didn't Last for one beat them? I wont even lie though, even though I am half Korean...I loved Ichigeki's style, and that one guys story about his dad. I love battles between Korea/Japan. We have too much history for our battles to be boring.

Uh they lost by the judge vote..... the judges are not "everyone". Who cares about their race (unless your Japanese and you take pride in this), last for one aint and never was as unique and coordinated as ichigeki, seriously if you think last for one is better then Ichi, your fucking nutz lol.

Well for ignorant people that are not cultured such as yourself, Japan/Korea have a heated history. As in Japan hired assisins to rape the korean queen, hang her body, and then catch it on fire. After this Japan took over Korea, and killed anyone that practice Korean culture. It was banned to speak Korean. They annexed Korea and forcefully "Japanified" Korea. I am saying even for being Half-Korean I can get over that bias, and say Ichigeki killed it (which is why the won best in show)

(Continued), If you don't like the judging go start your own competition. The judging is obviously respected world wide, as every year bboys fight in EVERY country to win and represent there NATION. Which also adds to my point that EVERYONE cares somewhat about race/nationality. To represent for your country in battle of the year.

Ichigeki won best show in 2005 at boty. They are still a crew. So that means if you loose a battle then you simply just break up as a crew ?Is that what you are saying? Actually they have gotten a new dutch member to their crew. But it seems as if they just focus alot on themselves, individually. I don't know all the members, i mostly just know Quick. But that is the impression I have gotten. Then you can choose to believe me or not. That is entirely up to you guys. :)

I know Quick / Takahiko Fukui personally. I have also danced with some of the members and still do sometimes. I met them at the Japanse embassy in Denmark they gave a workshop before floorwars. Trust me, they have not broken up :). Yeah, Japan and Korea are dope, no doubt about that.
