  • what stall you have?

  • my god...and those DR's didnt even look that big in the video..on a set of heavy stock rims too..thats damn impressive! just goes to show its all about launch/driver abilities. sweet sleeper!!

  • Wow when the boost comes on that car hauls, with a loose converter you would have boost off the line for even more killer rippin

  • I went 9.80's in this car. It's capable with a good R/T and a good 60ft

  • @j88l98irocz we know :) beautiful car

  • Pyromanic577 WTF are you talking about!?! The timing curve has been adjusted properly.

  • @j88l98irocz I think he is talking about the timing at the light. Which doesnt matter if your trying to run a good time lol.

  • That's my old car! :) it has a rmvb th400 with trans brake, forged ls2, moser 9in, I built turbo kit.

  • strange how it seems to pull off so slow, to save the clutch?

  • @ricochetVendetta its automatic. I think he was trying not to spin the tires too much...

  • @wyldfantasyx wrong, Obviously He doesn't know His Flash point but that's ok my 2000 camaro SS ran 12.5 with a 1.29 60ft The main thing that did that ( I too had an Automatic) was The 3200 Vigilante Stall. my flash point was 3200rpm obviously but you can buy higher stalls for stronger cars such as 3300, 3400, 3500, etc. GL!

  • @zanrath12345 The tires he was running would probably lose traction with all the torque. I think wyldfantasyx was right because that car would have no problem breaking those tires lose if it will run these times. He is probably running a higher stall my guess would probably be at least 3600 lol if not 4k. You dont half build a 10 sec car haha. Btw is the stall the only thing on ur ss. If so that time is really good.Im trying to find an ls1 right now to move up from the lt1 lol.

  • @56oldssuper88 No It wasn't But It was All Naturally aspirated 3200 Vigilante stall, Iboc Springs, Custom Built Air Intake made by a buddy of mine that he gave me as a Testing Intake which worked great, Ram Air, Straight Pipe MagnaFlow Bullets, and thats about it. Now honestly Doing this same thing to your lt1 It Would Probably Be able to Run 12's. but You'll Definitly Need a Suspension upgrade A regular 2000 SS Suspension setup Should fit. :) Hope you found what u were looking for!

  • @zanrath12345 Im looking into doing a full forged n/a build actually. Should be able to get low 11's with the set up i want. Le2 heads/cam ,11.5:1, and a custom cam. Then of course the suspension, tranny and rear end. I will probably run 4:11's out of a moser 9 in. on slicks of course

  • @56oldssuper88 oh yeah and a 3600 yank converter

  • @56oldssuper88 wow, Nice...Honestly IF you are gunna be runnign all that on a LS1 Engine, With the stall, Iboc Springs (Strongly Recommend) :D, With a Costum built air intake Which Was really instead of It Going through a bunch of Swervy Pipes it Was Just a Huge Square Box that sucks it all in and lead straight to the engine, ram air, and Possibly cat-backs you'd be Running 10's easily the Whole Setup i just laid Out for you should be under 5 Grand. and really Helps.

  • @zanrath12345 that was gonna be the lt1 build but im really wanting an ls1, more particularly a ws6. If I ran lloyd elliot stuff on an ls1 10's would most certainly be possible

  • @56oldssuper88 Right yea yea I got you on that but I think the most Financial Way and yet smartest way to go is a LS1 But If you wanna do it Big, Drop a LQ9 in that bad boy :DDDD

  • @zanrath12345 Yeah thats why i want a ws6 lol

  • @56oldssuper88 yea, Sounds Like a Fun project post some vids of your lt1 if you havent already I wanna see it, btw I don't Have my SS anymore, I got rid of it about 2 years ago... I lost my job couldn't pay for it so I had to let it go. But I hope your Camaro turns out great... You Should Deserve a nickname haah i was Named Slingshot Because My 60 ft was 1.29 believe it or not it was as fast as a 9 second car off the line...

  • @zanrath12345 Im actually in the process of doing body work on it right now. Bought it with the damage for really cheap but after i get it done im sure i will post some. It's stock now except for an slp catback. I have another project that is getting priority over the camaro right now.

  • @wyldfantasyx the reason why he pulled off the line slow was because it has the rear mount turbo which has that lag time you can hear when his boost kicks in

  • @ricochetVendetta thats how most turbo cars are. it takes a while for a turbo that big to spool up.

  • You can do better then that. Get a trans brake.

  • u could get even faster if u can get the timing down. awesome car!

  • wicked fast. great video

  • id make love to ur car i wana super charge my truck stuff espinsive

  • Sick

  • lol wtf the last mustang ran 15 at like 70s trap speed, somethin wrong wit that stang, or driver

  • @yeedoh v6

  • @Jeffreyrno No it was a 5.0L but guy couldnt driver at all. he missed 2 gears. or something

  • @yeedoh I think he missed a gear and let off.

  • @wyldfantasyx I hope so!! but never the less, bad ass Maro!!!

  • Love it!!!

  • Lookin real good man! Steppin up yo game! :D
