@Ubon94 its just the trend. When they open the initial line in vegas, they move the line based on what people have bet. They try to get it to an even 50/50. So in the SMU game it was -16 and more than half of the bets were for Rice at -16 so they lower it until the bets even out. hope that makes sense.
@Ubon94 Zach Line being out doesn't help, and I also think early bettors believed SMU is overrated. SMU is 0-5 ATS in its last five games after all. Good luck if you played it!
