I'm a Paul supporter myself, but I was anticipating the media's equating Paul to Fawkes when I heard about the Nov. 5th Money Bomb. I'm glad that Paul supporters are out in force showing that we are not in fact terrorists, so much as we're a peaceful people wanting control of our government again, and all the freedoms that entails.

Actually, Guy Fawkes was an old-timey Timothy McVeigh. The conspiracy he was a part of was going to blow up the Protestant monarchy in place at the time and replace it with a Catholic one under control of the Pope again. He really wasn't fighting for freedom like V for Vendetta makes it out to be, so much as religious despotism.

Well, McVeigh cited his reasons as a response to the government's involvement of the Branch Davidians at Waco. At the heart of both motives is that intense disenfranchisement that Beck is speaking about. Not to mention, the use of that "similar tool" of murder and terrorism is a pretty big similarity to overlook.
