I'm gonna have to say the difficulty level on this against the CPU is what the 360 and the PS3 should've been. The CPU has managed to focus cancel, combo and even use the ultras effectively especially when you're fighting against Akuma.

SFIV is fucking crap on the iPhone!!!!!

The controls are not as sensitive as they should be or what you might imagine it to be, being that it's supposed to be touch sensitive. There's also some kind of, what I can only describe as lag to pulling off specials even though you're playing as a single player against the AI. This 'lag' is only less than a second but that's all it takes between pulling off a health melting combo or just standing there idle despite you inputting the commands.

They should have made the characters 2d sprites rather than 3d models. Let the framerate go up, the visuals won't really be that much worse. Besides, fluidity and timing are incredibly important to a fighting game. How can you let that go down for a bit shinier looks?

I have a PSP and I love it! It has been apart of my little PlayStation Family for almost 6 years and it still works great but I want to talk about the PSP Go I got which broke down on me in the first 6 months. I would rather buy a iPhone or Touch (which I have a touch and love it, my first apple product!) than a PSP Go as a handheld device. I rather use my PSP 1000 more than that Go as a Gaming system, so it all equals out! :)

This version of SF4 is great and deserves 5 stars. I dont know why some people are giving this an unreasonable review at the App Store. Obviously this game will not look good if it was built from ground up due to to the limitations of the iPhone. I'd honestly rather have pre-rendered graphics/sprites over a unpresentable application, so appreciate it. Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS CAPCOM FOR SF4 being on App Store's Top Paid Game!!

I got this game earlier on my iPod. I LOVE how it is almost exactly the same as it is on xbox! And been somewhat a pro on the xbox really gives me an advantage because the moves are still the same :D Eg. Down , Towards , Punch = Hadoken

This is a really fun game. There are more characters than this shows, and plenty of replayability. It is much more in-depth than people think. Sure it's simplified in controls, but it is still very competitive.

By the way, no one has EVER mentioned the incredible Street fighter II BGM feature that you can buy. Pure nostalgia hearing all the old theme songs and sound effects, all from the original arcade game - a little bit re-arranged, I think.
