  • The song is the Freddie Hubbard tune "Povo".  My Dad was in a jazz trio with Clarence in the early 70's in HOuston.

  • the man also brought marvelous licks and solos behind Bobby Blue Bland (Duke period)and was the house guitarist for the Black Top label.
