  • The government has no right to do this.

  • The government has no right to do this.

  • I'll bet the DEVIL LOVES that this nation has become so ridiculously intolerant of Christianity that even BIBLE STUDIES are targeted for extinction. It starts with bullcrap like this.... making it a "code violation"- then requiring FEES... and soon possibly IMPRISONMENT OR THE DEATH PENALTY. This is just ridiculous. This is something you would see in the Middle East, NOT AMERICA!!!!!!!

  • First of all it's California, and it's not part of America, it's the new Sodom. Second, it's okay for the rest of us not to pray in a public place and not fine the government for not allowing it, but it sure is okay for the government to fine us for praying in our homes. Liberalism at it's finest.

  • america is crazy they still have religion ha ha ha its 2011

  • @mcdinkity and you are what's wrong with America!!!

  • @discoqueen1970 im not american i live in europe where religion is laughed at

  • @mcdinkity That is why Europe will be the first to fall. Last time you laughed at religion Europe was plunged into the ugliest war ever. The next one, you won't survive, because America will not respond when you scream for help. WE THE PEOPLE, will not allow, not this time and not with my son's life at stake. But out of America's business.

  • Man am I happy I wasn't born in America... or Iran.

  • It's FOX "news" facts don't matter.

  • @Neosaigo Ok, why did you click on this site. Go click on the other 15 sites that are showing this, maybe you'll find something that YOU agree with.

  • DID THEY WIN????? HELLO????

  • I am an atheist and I agree with the pastor here. What, are we going to need a restaurant license on thanksgiving if our family gets too big? If it were hundreds of people, I would understand, but come on, a hand full of people? What if they were a book club and the book they were reading wasn't the bible? Would they need a license then?

  • @christo930 I agree... But you see, soon American citizens who are the working class and poor.. will soon realize they actually have NO protected rights. Without the $50 thousand, 30 thousand, 20 thousand for a lawyer and to pay off judges.. the common person has no rights.

  • @christo930 Me too and agreed.

  • man, i'd pretend to enjoy fox news for that chick in blue...smoking.

  • FOX NEWS, therefore, the story might not be true.

  • The cities and counties are also being hit by the poor economy, so they're sending out more cops to write more expensive tickets, increasing parking prices, and requiring special permits for everything.

I can't play guitar on the street in Santa Monica without paying $37 for an annual permit.

They're just squeezing money out of everyone for anything.

  • COUNTY LAW! COUNTY LAW!!!

  • Lol, this is not at all against religion, it is more against the right to assemble.

  • What do you study deutarotamy?????

  • if people want their god damned bible study then GO TO THE FUCKING CHURCH!

  • @NOVAGIRL666,

It doesn't matter. San Diego doesn't have the authority to tell people why they can invite people to their house. The city of San Diego also probably owes the pastor legal fees. The city officials could also face prosecution for harassment since their ordinances are unconstitutional. Little girl, studying is not a crime.

  • @NOVAGIRL666,

You don't have a right to impose Communist rules on people anywhere in the country or world. Any attempt to do so is a threat. Churches do not need government approval. Unless there's action that is criminal like rape, gov't can't touch it. If a government uses force to break up a peaceful private religious assembly, it constitutes an act of war and it is okay for the assembly to defend itself; they can say anything they want to in their own homes.

  • @NOVAGIRL666,

In Communist China, millions of people are sent to gulags for holding religious worship in their own houses. These services are based strictly on religious belief alone and practice is not a factor, yet they're tortured for it. Is that the kind of government you want? If so, it doesn't matter. Any government that does that is illegitimate and it is morally obligatory to resist.

  • you were so right about this and what is coming Jehovah Witnesses......:(

  • What a bunch of government crap. This is what 1776 was all about.

  • zeitgeist. WATCH IT

  • Cant serve two masters.

Would guess the preacher has a 501 (C)3 exempt Government State Sponsored Church. This god can tell these mislead sheeple what to do and what to preach because they MOST likely forsook the Lord Jesus Christ, and took the state as their head.

Truth is that PRAYER and prayer groups SHOULD be defended with ARMS and kill every Government Bastard that would try to even ATTEMPT to stop or fine you... In Jesus Holy Name - shoot to kill when they come!

  • what would they say then and yeah what if it was just company and they was doing something else like xbox or I dont for some odd reason I wanna say sherades what then I am so sorry you have to go through this I will pray for you Lord, please watch over this pastor and his wife and give them knowledge and strength to get through this Amen

  • OMG my mom wouldnt be able to have all her kids and grandkids over if it is 15 or more and need apermit we all talk about the bible and eat and pray and there is my mom her 9 kids and 13 grandkids and 4 son in laws

  • @234201986beth We have been suffering from decades of lost rights, including the gov forcing religion on people through things like religious tests to hold office and religious tests to be exempt from taxes. This is just the natural progress of letting the gov into our personal lives. The ironic part is that it was the religious that fought hard to give the gov that power through things like putting god on our money, tax exempt status on religious organizations and the pledge just for starters!

  • I wonder what would happen if I had 20 people at my house to worship Pox News?

  • I'm an agnostic and this story is upsetting from a secular viewpoint since the govt has no business regulating the religious practices of any group (provided their not causing others harm). Its absurd to think that you cant have 15 people in your house without a permit. However, contrary to the way fox is trying to portray this story, i dont think its against Christianity so much as regulating the right of people to assemble. If I have 15 people over to play X-box, do I need a permit now?
