Guys, stop being so negative. I've tried spiders in china, and they are really tasty. Have you tasted these pinkish-white pieces of crab they sell? They taste kinda sweet and yet they are served as a salty food? Well, the tarantulas taste like them, only a bit bitter. They are really tasty, really, and if I hadn't grown up with the idea that spiders are scary and poisonous, I'd be eating them more often than I eat McDonalds.
HUNTING SPIDERS IN THE FUCKING JUNGLE WEARING SANDLES. Although this type of living is very normal for kids who live in heavly forested areas such as Laos and south America alike.
Can they grow any crops I wonder? Looked like they had a lot of sun by the village but maybe they don't have enough room for crops or a way to irrigate. I am impressed with these kids, though. Lots of children in the cities aren't even a little independent compared to these little ones. If they could make money and ship spiders, they could sell some of the spiders. Some of the huge ones are expensive.
It looked like a remote village, meaning that towns are very far away. also they probably do have crops but obviously not enough to last them the entire year, so they have to make up for it this way.
