Is the weather going to be like this on the HTC HD7 ? because i resisted not to buy the HD2 ..because of the HD7, but now it bugs em that i never had the chance to experience some of this phones features . I dont think HD7 weather animation is like this ? its less animated i think. of course for already HD2 users they probably are bored with the animations and would prefer something less animated? maybe . Anyway about HD7 its going to be on a £40 contract for 24 months!

@2chromedout I know man.. :( really, really disappointed, then i should have expected this , its Microsoft! . I mean those tiles ..and the nasty program list, how could they design that and then agree to have that put in there? They want to do well in the market..but they still dont get it. They (Microsoft) in design and features will always fall behind against their competitors because of their boring, bland taste. Its ugly interface ruins everything .

@SidneyXda i actually considered waiting for the hd7 but i just went ahead with the hd2. like the tiles are soo big! its almost like we're all 4 years old and they're big blocks of letters! lol. i was hoping there was a way to switch around the settings to get a different interface, but sadly there's not :( soo get this phone. i wanna encourage everyone else to :D

I have an HTC HD2 now .... IT'S THE BEST PHONE I EVER HAD !!! REALLY IT'S LIKE A REAL PC IN YOUT POCKET !!! Really I recommend to all the HTC HD2 !! It's REALLY SUPER FAST & SMOOTH ! ... 1GHz CPU , 512 MB RAM !! Awesome !!

as I see, the Android 2.1 or 2.2 OS vs the Windows Mobile 6,

Pocketnow is the best phone and PDA-site in the world (there are no more better sites for real), and this phone really rocks!

This is a proper iPhone killer: HD2 is much better than the iPhones in many respects. For example the screen is much bigger, the hardwares are way better, and you don't have to jailbrake it if you want to upload some downloaded files form your PC into it. Ok it is true that the iPhone 4 got an IPS screen, but... nothing else better.

when compare to SE Xperia X10 or nexus1 or samsung i9000 , their

well i dont physically need an htc hd2 to run the sense ui. so, that means i saved $150 :)

[htc pure wm6.5 - tess prime III rom] -- works exactly, and is identical to this video. But u may argue that the hd2 has more megapixels, a higher processor speed, and flash led :P

No sir... Sense UI on the hero is similar yes but "VERY" different on the android platform compared to Sense on the Windows Mobile platform.. If I am correct this will be the first windows mobile phone to use Sense UI and the background weather animations.
