With stock tires the car pushes badly (under steer). Got the best results with late turn in combined with very fast hands and punching the gas to get the car to rotate (to force the rear end to come around). Better tires and brake pads would help a ton.

i agree with all of you that are trying to tell these guys that 300HP is NOT weak. i did own a 1997 Camaro z28 from 2000 until 2006, that car is rated at 285HP, it did have the 6 speed transmission, and it was very fast. 300HP, is NOT weak

right on i dont have the car any more, i have an 03 2500 HD now with 300horse, i do have another camaro, although its older, its a 91 with the 305 and those cars are rated at like 185 hp, and hell yeah cars are getting some nice hp and fast as hell, even the new camaro v6 has over 300 hp,

Actually I have drive many different cars at various tracks. While some are more fun than others, I haven't met one yet that wasn't satisfying.

weak? you are aware that the RS package doesnt add performance, just visual changes right? You cant say that a V6 with 304 hp is weak, and i bet youve never tried one either.

the ss has 422 hp. I can't drive yet, but when I can I am getting the ss. and i meant compared to the ss when i said weak.

Only up to 102-103 mph. Short straight and soft brakes were the limiting factor.
