  • Unfortunately these tips are useless to me as I have a French car, not a Polish one ...

  • klatzkopf

  • kham-pound

  • 0:16 he's measuring how heavy male balls are

  • That's great, but what about people who don't have $300 equipment just lying around?

  • @Mudig go buy the equipment, or take it to get it detailed

  • screw buffing thats for the apprentice

  • OH DEAR You just don't know your stuff at all. Want a system that only the best show car / hotrod guys use. Then email me Trikes. trikes@live.com.au

  • This guy is probably regreting making the video after reading the comments haha

  • yes everyone is an expert but you havnt said anything about damping the mop before usage and why , to not burn the paint. it will get hot thats why it should be a damp wool mop not dry. you have not said what grade of compound in the UK we use g7 g3 and other grades. your leaving important bits out dude but im not here to give you a lesson your the expert and id be here all evening but at least you had a go. oh sorry to mention i just work for Bently all day as a buffer polisher

  • love the video, thanks a lot :)

  • disposed you are

  • Don't choke yourself with the cord..

  • damn zoro....

  • can see why you call yourself monkey sevices, how about some masking of the rear screen, and you should use more compound and have a water spray bottle, you have got your hand on your cock.

  • @siknowsstuff Rear window doesn't need masking, you can just take off the fluid with a towel afterwards.

  • nice video

  • Z for Zoro! ;p

  • wahaha looks like he's wearing a dress!

  • "just add a little bit more cumpound"

  • I prefer a much easier way to polish using a waterless car wash and polish.I dont have time for that system .Look after your vehicle on a regular basis.

  • Genial, gracias por explicar claramente sobre este tema...

  • I'm lost, I have no idea what "scratches" he was so offended by...I looked and looked again...

  • Thanks for the info!

  • EVERY "how to" video on youtube has at least a dozen people talking about how stupid the person in the video is. I guess nobody on youtube knows how to do anything.

  • @ondfritz2 everyone has different methods of doing things, and each thinks their own is the correct and only way because thats all they know. But one thing is for sure, no professional should ever start the buffer while its sitting on the car. D:<

  • my orbital polisher comes with 1 applicator bonnet and 1 polishing bonnet, so for example if I want to polish, do I put the polishing bonnet and polish or do I have to use the application bonnet to apply the polish product and THEN polish. If you can help me, I thank you so much!

  • The second one bud, and make sure its foam and then microfiber so you dont have an swirl marks.

  • @barrows4life4 thanks so much bro,

  • the z pattern makes no difference lol what a retard!!!!

  • is he gay?

  • @TheUnknownkris what does sexuality have to do with the reason why you're here?

  • i though he was gonna cock at 1st

  • Fuk man, its the same car again and again and again....

  • and then BUFF!

  • check out m22wright channel for the very best videos on deep scratch removal

  • how many RPM do you use?

  • same car as i used to have! horrible paintjob!

  • its a BMW, it should be an M pattern.

  • @Max4Beats rofl so true

  • you should have gone to specsavers

  • Be specific about the grit of the compound or else you'll grind through the lid!

  • 2 light scratches, yeah? Couldnt remove them by hand, right. Its probably because your a limp wristed faggot whose not used to elbow grease.

  • you suck at polishing

  • ur kinda fag

  • @agnaeus ROFL ))

  • I actually prefer an "s" pattern, it seems to just work better for me

  • A good detailer can buff cars without using polish.

  • This is a bit off i use a slightly different process im positive this dude is swirling the bejesus out of this beemer i work @ a rover jag dlr and i use a basecoat of 1500 grit cut then use the "Z" pattern which is also wrong because you really just want to use alot of compound the more you use the less noticable the swirls! No swirls is the goal fool!!

  • I love this guy with his protection glasses!!

  • 20 bucks says he's gay

    buff the wood

  • "We are going to..." "Take our compound..." yuk! Can't see what is happening, only have your word for it. Wrap the cord around your arm... oops, I mean over my shoulder. An irritating demo, so smarmy and patronising.

  • Argh...he's so irritating....

  • Meguiars its better, dont need goggles and the PAD its to big

  • Z pattern!!!!!!!!!!

  • his GAY!

  • i bet knob is his favorite thing to polish

  • hey baybe wana suck my dick ill pay you a buck to spread my splatter

  • what compound or liquid did he put on the scratch?

  • just soooooper! silly guy ;p ha ha he said affectid ! i bet he's infected AIDS

  • Cocksuckers charge $350 for this done too. Scam artist.

  • May we please see the scratches FIRST, there, Buffy?

  • for some reason i dont think this guy will ever have kids, or likes them A LOT

  • @KerryDoan LMAOO

  • if there is a light clear coat you will end up to uncover the base coat and thats a real ........!!!

  • Hi

Just a question after you do the polish do you still have to wax the car to protect the paint? just trying to understand the hole process of buffing , polishing and waxing?

Any help would be great thanks

  • @Andocrx .. yeah you first get a clay bar (clay bar kit comes with all you need for this step) all over your car and dry it with a clean cloth or microfiber then polish (scratch remover if you want to, since the polish will do kind of the same job) with or without a buffer then wax with or without a buffer .. I have a black jetta and believe me, if you do all this steps, your car WILL look like new.. work time for about 4 hours

    Hope that helped

  • @Andocrx yes follow with a good wax , buffing removes all paint protection . Be sure to wax at the least ( for a car that sits out doors)once a month , people forget the paint on their car is one of the most expensive components of it !!!!

  • this guys an idiot.

  • FYI: a wool pad on a rotary is the absolute heaviest cut you can use. ESPECIALLY at 2000RPM, I wouldnt exactly call this guy a pro...

  • @JonProce your right , a foam pad is much safer and doesnt cause as many heavy buff marks or generate as much heat leading to a greater chance of burning as the wool pad .

  • if u do it that slow your never gonna get it done

  • this guy- is a complete doofus

  • do you keep the rubbing compound on your night table?

  • Velcro, hmmmm aren't ur undies made of that?

  • don't forget your safety goggles!!

  • ZZZZZZZ PATTERN!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Американцы или кто там!На русском рассказывать надо!!!!))

  • can you jst use any type of wax for the buffer??

  • if there is enough paint on the car!!!!

  • @walterbrob you don't buff paint, you buff the clear coat only.

  • People should always remember that wool pad is for cutting and foam pad is for finishing. i wanted him to show the sets of scratches so i would know how bad of a scratch it was, to make it go away in 5 minutes

  • @liveloud666 If a car has oxidation on it, do you think I could use a wool pad + rubbing compound to cut it down then use a foam pad + rubbing compound to bring the color hidden underneath back?

Or would I have to wet sand??

  • @Supraman353 use wool pad or foam cutting pad with a cutting compound to remove oxidation. Then use a fine polish with a soft foam pad to seal and bring shine back.

  • the ad is so annnoying

  • are wool pads washable and reusable?

  • Yes they are. :)

  • I tried doing this but I damaged my clearcoat! any tips how to avoid this again?

  • Use a D.A. polisher if you new with detailing...It's pretty impossible to burn the clearcoat with a Dual Action polisher...like the portercable.

  • after 10 seconds and iam losing the will to live. Boring

  • scratches? i see none? dumb.

  • what the guy doesnt understand is using a wool pad on light scratches will leave much more swirl marks on a dark coloured car and make it harder for you to bring out that fine scratchless, swirlless finish.

  • man you suck dude z patter haha....lol what rpm are you working with again......man i would of just hit it on 2000 rpm and two or three past.....done.

  • Is the guy a health and safety officer, a sales man, a cheff or just a man trying to get a job by adding this video. By the time he is done I could have been on holiday and be back to still be waiting for my car to be done. Get a grip show how to work faster, save time and get the right stuff to help saving cost. People are watching this to save money to do it them self, sick and tired of being ripped off now this man borred my.

  • i have that car

  • where do u buy buffer from in uk

  • Go to cleanyourcar site shop and there's a great forum there as well to teach you how you use it the right way.

A wool pad which he is using is not for light scratches as said, but for heavy scratches and swirls. A wool pad will remove too much clearcoat for no reason at all!

Best to start off with a sponge pad like the Sonus white one and a light polish like the Sonus SFX-2, if that doesn't do the job then more on a a more aggressive pad and polish combo.

  • That guy is using a rotary machine which are best but as a beginner IMO it's best to go for a Dual action machine like the Meguiars G220 or the DAS-6 polisher. Cleanyourcar sells both those machines as well as rotary machines like that guy's using.

  • I still have a hard time with the DA let alone a rotary action.

  • What!? i dont even see any scratches... this is stupid!

  • nice dress

  • @guytjuh

    its called an apron.....

  • @guytjuh

    its an apron!

  • @mrpr1ngles OMG no way!

  • Farecla are the BEST rubbing compounds on the market!! You gotta try them.

  • how does polishing removes scratches?

  • @Ibringthetruth1 it doesnt it just fills them in with polymer temporarily and depending on the quality they will reappear within weeks somtimes days best to use a wool pad @ about 2200rpm spread the compound first with a wax pad or microfiber then use that gay ass "Z patern" i crosshatch but its preference

  • always wear safety googles...lol i know i do...what a joke

  • @iphone3gJMW i have never used goggles in my life and i think you need your naked eye to really identify problem areas on paint this guy really seems like a noob

  • @Nzaf001 Ive never heard of using safety goggles for polishing either, spatter goes sideways not upwards, so shouldnt be a problem unless he's a bit 'special' and puts his face alongside the buffing wheel.

  • LMFAO @ 1.28 "we Wrap.. Wrap it around our arm.." he means throw it over ur shoulder.. lol other than that.. very helpful vid

  • I prefer foam pads, wool pads suck.... too much fuzz everywhere!!!

  • Today I use the 3M Perfect-it treatment #06060 #06064 and #06068 with their respective foam pads for the second time at 1,500RPM., if I use them at 2,000 RPM as instructed with my Makita, the chemicals dry and heat up making the impossible to remove. Not good. So I don't know why everyone (even 3M) recommend using them at that high speed.

  • @Cargo1273 i wet the compond with glass gleaner before starting best to do it in relative humidity as well.

  • @Cargo1273 i wet the compond with glass gleaner before starting also spread the compound with a wax pad then apply lines of compound best to do it in relative humidity as well.

  • hey whats the difference between rubbing compound and a polish? and also what if u dont have a buffer can you do it just as weel by hand? or with a hand pad?

    thanks

  • Rubbing compound is just another name for a mix between a cut and a polish. real polishes are not supposed to have cut in them, as Meguairs points out.

  • I bought Meguiars Diamond Cut Compound and Ultimate compound. Which one would you recommend using? Is it true that all I need to do is wash the car and push the compound and and buff?

  • Diamond Cut is more body shop use and has a heavy grit to it, Ultimate Compound is more friendly and polishes better, and has a tad bit lighter grit. It depends what you are trying to do, take out scratches only, or wax it? Yes you need to wash your car very well, with Degreaser to get everything off. Clay bar wouldn't hurt either. I would use Ultimate Compound, then swirl remover and a wax. You don't wanna push it either btw, let the compound do the work, it eventually breaks down.

  • I already bought the ultimate compound. I tried applying it by hand, but it absolutely did nothing. I did the circular motion in one place, I could not tell any difference. Should I just use the buffer with the ultimate compound or maybe buff with diamond 85?

  • You'd want to use the buffer when it comes to a cut because it's steady and way way more effective, and alot faster too, just more dangerous if you don't know what your doing. Meguiars always say least first, so buff with the compound first and see what happens. Don't rush, work in a 2x2 spot for a min nice a slow, medium pressure, then lighten up on the buffer. try 1600 RPM

  • then whats a glaze?

  • Glaze is meant for shine, most companies like car brite, blue coral and others is just a filler with silicone, not bodyshop safe. I called Meguiars before, they said glaze and polish is the same thing. companies just mix them up, real pure polishes shine, like a glaze, but with no silicone.

  • why did'nt he show the scratch before the fucking loser. anyone can buff over scratch!!!!!!!!!

  • my trans am is lookin good as new thanks to your vids
