@MakersMark723 I don't know of the specific battle you refer to, and I am not really big into the history of the Korean War but I believe at Hoengseong there were something like 5000-6000 US, S. Korean and French forces surrounded by over 25,000 Chinese and the US, S. Korean and French managed to hold out and eventually fight their way through the Chinese. That was right before Operation Ripper where the US 8th Army re-took Seoul from the Chinese and N. Koreans.

@MakersMark723 I don't know of the specific battle you refer to, and I am not really big into the history of the Korean War but I believe at Hoengseong there were something like 5000-6000 US, S. Korean and French forces surrounded by over 25,000 Chinese and the US, S. Korean and French managed to hold out and eventually fight their way through the Chinese. That was right before Operation Ripper where the US 8th Army re-took Seoul from the Chinese and N. Koreans.
