For ur information sometime in January 2011,an employee of SMRTUPD, took his very young daughter to play at the high voltage maint pit. It was only known after a public complaint. How SMRT didn't realised a kid was in the Restricted Area.Is the Security so slacked. How abt our safety. The guy got away with just a warning letter
Stupid singapore, the more u oppress people the more they want out, punishing someone with violence is fuking ridiculous and this should be stopped. Singapore want to be a leading city in the world which is impossible with the backwards sadistic laws that they enforce. The rest of the world accepts graffiti as an art and a way of expression, why can't singapore? this is a sorry state of affairs and i am disgusted at how people can treat other humans in such a way
@Kaucheese1 YOU are absolutely right!! I help to expose this kind of injustice and those that promote this brutal cruelty on all Singapore youtube videos and others on the web. Check under Oliver Fricker video, or Singapore caning country to see the how Unbelievalbe are those in Signapore, and elsewhere, that will try to justify and defend this brutality.

yeah think about it... police videos being uploaded to youtube, never hear from the the user again.... they want you to leave comments hoping that you might give up details about them... think about how much the authorities know about banos now and how much they want to catch him.
For sentencing a graffiti artis to FLOGGING. This country is a sadistic country abusing human rights and we support Oliver Fricker. See youtube Singapore websites to post comments
Well, it seems like the fool got of easy by their standards. I'm certainly not for caning, but its just hard to get all outraged over this. Think of the soon to be applied scars as Singaporian style graffiti.
@fitte6 What kind of "standards" does Singapore have? Uncivilised, Vicious and Barbaric. You don't have to get outraged over this, but if it was a family member(male) or someone you knew, (which is quite possible since thousands and thousands have received this sadistic treatment) you wouldn't take any of this lightly. Singapore is condemned for this TORTURE.
Their society, their rules. Yes Singapore is tough - borderline draconian - on crime and public property vandalizing, but that also why it's a fantastic safe. clean, and functional country. If you know that you are going to get your ass whipped for committing an offense such as spray painting trains, well, you tend to think twice about it and not doing it. And if you decide to go through with it and get caught, then more fool on you.
@fitte6 Of course it is their rules-BUT human rights and the right to be treated HUMANELY whether you broke a rule or not is paramount in every civilised society. It takes precedence over ANY man made law or penalty. Without that concept the society is NOT a fantastic place at all - it is uncivlised run by savages. This legalized VIOLENCE and brutality is the SHAME OF SINGAPORE.
Is it not ironic that Oliver Fricker a graffiti artist from Switzerland who has comitted no violence, comes from the country with the lowest crime rate in the world,,yet is sentenced to have VIOLENCE used against him by barbaric Singapore. This is not right and Singaporeans and the rest of the world knows this.

What kind of a barbaric country is this? Maybe burn the Singapore flag in protest of
the sentence of torture for Oliver Fricker. Singapore needs a wake up call this is
not Michael Fay they are abusing now. Singapore has no soul left.
