  • There are a few wrong notes in this aria. "Pio era il suo cor". Sung prettily but, wrong.

  • Una perla SCONOSCIUTA come tutta l'opera da cui è tratta. E comunque la prima versione in 4 atti è immensamente superiore alle successive "amputate"

  • L'aria è bellissima.... ma perché sostituisce il do (Pio) con un mi bemolle? il risultato è pessimo. E lo stesso fa alla seconda strofa (Ri-poserà)
