As mentioned below, it does have a 2.9 Whipple. Official dyno numbers now are 622 HP on 91 Octane and 686 on 110 Octane. It is a beast! I will post up dyno sheets and video when I get them from my tuner. For the haters on the exhuast, it might be changed out next year. I am losing about 30 HP due to stock headers. Going Longtube Headers and maybe a Magnaflow Catback system. The car seems extremely loud now, for some reason, since the new mods.

Or someone who doesn't realize that chambered mufflers suck. I mean they sound good at a few RPM's but as soon as you get them in the high rpm's way to tingy and tinny sounding. Straight through like Magnaflow or Borla is much better sounding and are what 4V's especially Termi's deserve. Flows and Macs are okay on Fox Body Mustangs though, but still way overused and dont sound as near as good as others. MAC does make some good headers and mid-pipes though.

People buy Flows because they are cheap. And you cant tell me Borla Stingers with an O/R or even catted x-pipe doesn't sound better. Every Cobra around here has some sort of straight through muffler except for the one redneck that parks his in front of his trailer. And I would gladly go drive my GT, since it sounds 1000x better than the Cobra in this video (minus the supercharger whine) and I'm guessing yours based on what you have told me. But I have since sold it and now drive a 2009 Mazda 6.

And I agree with you I am not a fan of the newest stuff ford has on the market though I can appreciate the advances in technology. 300 hp v6's and a beastly 5.0 are great. Shelby's I think are nice but I would never own one. Too expensive when compared to a high boost 03/04 Cobra and I like the previous model Mustang bodies a lot better. Still some bad ass rides though.

StatusElite01 Go with a Cobra, I've only ever had my 03 Cobra and my 03 Mach 1. Its a better all around car for street fun, having a stock supercharger you'll love it. Its like driving with nos being pushed to the engine all the time. Plus for street driving the IRS is a blast nothing like hitting a on ramp and 100+ and sticking like glue is on the tires. I do have 3k into the suspension so I wouldn't recommend trying that off the bat. Besides that it has a DOHCv4 engine and all forged internals
