  • Put some gasoline on of those boomerangs and set it on fire! >:D

  • the crowd sounds like cats in a cartoon xd

  • is the crowd 8 year olds?

  • The glow stick is like an axis .The sparklers dont burn me becuase I catch the glow stick below the 5 wings .The sparkler is on the top ,above the 5 wings .I avoid the top . Its like a spining top , I just aim for the glow stick .

  • @flyingscience or in short terms dont go for the sparkley stuff

  • *in car* what a nice night for a dr... OH SHIT ITS A YOUFO! MARTHA GET THE CAMERA!!! WE GONA BE RICH!!

  • wow

  • Awesome!

  • Those idiots sound like they've never seen a boomerang fly before.

  • @212iceking i never seen one fly in real life, but in a videogame i did

  • Is it hot to catch the boomerang in 2:38?

  • DOUBLE RAINBOW xD

  • How was the boomerang able to be used for hunting.

  • @secretkillerz boomerangs were used to kill giant bats, by the aborigines

  • @secretkillerz Boomerangs are too small for big game . Kylies / throwsticks are like flying baseball bats . Kylies dont return , they kill by impact and impaling .They can go right through a man .Kylies have been used in war .

  • @flyingscience boomerangs were used for big game by the aboriganes ( spelled wrong ) to kill things like kangaroo which are pretty big game.

  • @sirexodus626 Boomerangs are too small for big game . Kylies / throwsticks are like flying baseball bats . Kylies dont return , they kill by impact and impaling .They can go right through a man .Kylies have been used in war .Some Kyklie's look like' boome'r;angs butl tlhe'yk dontl flyk in a circle.

  • @flyingscience BOOMERANGS ARE USED FOR KANGAROOS!

  • @secretkillerz Boomerangs appeared on more places in the world, not just Australia. One theory says that their origin use is for hunting over swamps, to strike a target "afloat", over the water surface. Than, in general, it´s not good weapon for aim, so it have better utilization when it´s thrown to bevy(of birds for example). But there were also some types of kylie, which was able to remake to boomerang, and also back. I know this from one document published by CBA, Czech Boom. Asociation.

  • I LOVE BOOMERANGS

  • jhbn h

  • WOW!

  • how you have that effect in the photos?

  • @Superipodtouch A long shutter speed it what makes the light trails

  • @Superipodtouch You can take a video and divide it into segments --> convert those instances to bmp/jpgs ----> then stack or mash them in photoshop

  • ooh......... ahh

  • @gorogawa It is odd that I cant get a non faith symbol that has all blue lights (and Ive looked ) . Ive considered adding more painted lines to hide the star to avoid associations , but I just explain the scarcity of BLUE LEDS.

  • The blues are turquoise and a light blue it is my favorite , it makes a very beautiful ring of blue in flight .

  • @gorogawa They are holiday LEDs for Hanuka. The Led companies have a huge inventory of about 50 designs for every catagory St Paddys , Christmass , crosses even sexy x rated ones .The Star of David LED is the only LED with 6 all blue flashing lights I can find .

  • @flyingscience Well, if that's the story then it's OK but I suppose you could be a little more neutral when you propose a sport! Especially with the highly controversial faiths!

  • That is really dope. Very cool.

  • pro :P

  • Amazing light shows. I especially love the long-exposure shots at the end.

  • this is better than fireworks XD

  • f***k you mediagnome i live in Florida

  • UFO, UFO......

  • all i hear from the sparkled 35' was "whoaaaa!" from the kids in the backround

  • amazing pictures))but we need video..with pictures on this video

  • do that in the south people will think its a ufo

  • lmao

  • If you don't know what it is, it is.

  • lol

  • @MediaGnome UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object. I think you mean people in the South will think it's aliens. And by the way, I live in the South.

  • @MediaGnome are you kidding me? more people in the north aw ufos than people in the south.. prick.

  • @MediaGnome saw*

  • @MediaGnome we think everything is a ufo

  • @MediaGnome not likely. here in the south, our depth perception is excellent, so we'd be able to tell right away that its a small object close to the ground, therefore not a flying ship. on the other hand, my parents met someone from up north who honestly thought people would be riding around on horses and covered wagons here in Tx. this was in the early 80s.

  • @MediaGnome Do that in the north people will call the police

  • OMFG ITS UFOS!!!!!!=P

  • ooooooo woooooow oooooooo

  • I must some more learn with my boomerang!

  • dude you should light a cherry bomb on that thing it would be sweet to blow it up in the sky into a million pieces on fire like a fire work rocket.

  • It would suck if the boomerange came back and blew in his face though lolz

  • if the fuse is too long it will come back to you lol

  • dont be so sure ;)

  • Dude no offense but the cameraman was horrible in this video. Other than that it was sweet!

  • I wanna know if it's going over the high way?

  • hey, i wanted to say it looks like a UFO

  • so thats how they make fake ufo movie clips.

  • nice...

  • I like the idea of taking a time exposure. If that doesnt intice customers/learners, I dont know what does!

  • That's how you confuse somebody with UFOs or ghosts XD

  • getta life. their doin what their doin 'ts boomerangs, i do'em too...

  • i think he was joking

  • I like the idea on the glow stick

  • They somewhat remind me of a UFO xD it's like: "OMG! what's floating in the air? :O It's a UFO!"

  • ever seen the glowing frisbee?

.... kids play it at light 2 in the morning at the highschool near me!

  • GOD those kids were annoying.

  • didn't the sparkles burn u?

  • no sparklers on top seperated by 5 wings spining , I grab the glowstick bottom its easy with experiance .Never been burnt at shows .

  • cool man !

    did y

  • That looks like a UFO's when you throw it.

    Pretty awesome.

  • i love the long exposure stills at the end they look cool

  • how do you put the glow sticks in the boomerang?

  • Watch the below video -

"Night boomerangs seen by day - big tri-blades loaded "

  • Glow stick is held tightly in the central axis .1/2 inch hole holds 1/2 inch thick x 6'' glowstick .

  • and in other news, no less than 20 motorists witnessed a series of multicolored unidentified flying objects over a local park...

  • Beautiful man!

  • You've definitely got some serious confidence.

Those sparklers are burning at 1800 degrees F

I wouldn't want to catch one of those the wrong way...

  • Boomerang is caught by the glowstick below .

  • My fingers can never reach the topside .Its not risky for an experienced catcher .Never been burnt yet.

  • how do u make them come back that my problem come look at my rang problems please i need help ranging

  • is that a luna rang? 'cause i just burned mine for not working :P

  • N My night rangs are all hand made original designs .Luna works but not that well .You should have wrote me before you detroyed it .Add taped pennies it will fly better .

  • Throw luna soft , full stregth overpowers it .You might have to twist AOA to be more positive ?

  • i sent you a message that has a link of a picture of the boomerang its a plastic one lol

  • and its about 10 inches wide and 10 inches long lol

  • i have no idea wat its called ok let me get it ok it has like smooth orange out side and inside the orange it has a transperant green thing its four-bladed and were the green is it has like these indian black marks and in the middle it has like a simbol of the sun ill soon make a picture of it and make a vid so ill tell you when i finished it

  • hey do any of you know how to throw a 4 bladed plastic boomerang i only have a plastic one :( plz reply

  • what is the name of the boomerang , tell me its brand name , size and color .I'll find out if it works .There are many boomerangs made that are crapy .

  • es precioso

  • hey flying science try making a boomerang that looks like a gamecube controller imagane that then put like a lil line going upwards and then draw a gamecube controler

  • this sucks (this isnt my acount its my brothers cant have one to young 9 years) now im just wacthing a movie of naruto waiting to get a laser pointer

  • OMFG! i used to have 600 favorites now i only have 14! WTF!

  • I thought 500 was the limit . I had to erase a lot of mine to fit in new choices .I doubt you can get them back but ask around.

  • is this a wooden boomerang? Hornet Polymer Australian Boomerang lol boomerangsdot c o m with out spaces and a real dot .

  • Buggy - the word polymer means plastic. There are SOME plastic rangs that work that site may have some good ones .Beware the crappy Kmart type .

  • i like the tri bladed bat ones lol any websites that have any of those?

  • Look up my video -"Boomerangs -Balsa wood mini rangs ". Its virtualy unbreakable because the wings are 1/4 inch and SHORT .You can't snap a short pencil easily .

  • Kids rangs are typicly $7-$15 + shipping .

Teen and adult rangs are $15-$30 + shipping .

See my links in this video description, write me if you want to order .

  • Specialty hand made boomerangs are not sold in stores (mark up from middleman too high).Order rangs off the Net from me or anyone with videos to prove they FLY & RETURN.

  • I ment boomerangs

  • Were is a store near Tigerd oregen that has boomerang

  • I live in Ohio , dont know about the stores out there .Buy hand made ones they are like your grandmas homemade cookies -NO COMPARISON TO THE STORE ONES !

  • Buggy - Sadly mass produced boomerangs don't fly well here is why --Plastic is too heavy , Foam is too light, wood is just right .Wood boomerang making is an art that takes finesse .

  • Be aware that there are literally millions of fake counterfeit boomerangs sold without an airfoil .Spalding is the worst example.Unethical co.'s that prey on ignorance .

  • rofl if a american driver sees that he thinks aliens are invading the planet

  • There was a field of several night boomerang throwers (gathered for competitions) .People stoped driving to watch ,both trafic lanes where at a stand still .

  • Disregard that; I'm a nerd.

  • link? is that you??

  • Rephrase the question. You mean the Zelda character ? Some kids have written in that it reminds them of Ruby Stars cartoon flying trail .

  • if it is the zelda caracter i think he means the fairy thats following him always

  • is there a store near oregen tigerd that has boomerangs in it plz reply thanks

  • may the force be with you lol

i used to make my own boomerang from plastics rules and trusty rubber band. it does work really well..it also work when i tied two 12" cross in the center

but remember that never throw boomerang in one way road because you will break the law when it return

  • amazing u r truly flying science

btw thx for building frog eco system advise

  • Glad you liked the videos .Speak(write) like Yoda you do !

  • great vid ..i like some of the long exposure pics, and how they show the patterns of the turns and flight path ..very nicely done

  • man i got it now ........man thats way pepole saw UFO while driving.

    NICELY DONE

  • Whoah! that was cool!

  • like u can see most of the so called ufo sightings are probably fake..

  • i need a newbie boomerang...

  • There are a few commercial foam rangs with lights in them .But foam cant hold a candle to the hard wood rangs. But for kids its safe.

  • My URL will take you to 2 of my catalogs for (kids or adults).Note that I have videos of several models in flight to pick from.

  • what type of boomerang it looks easy to throw and catch

  • I throw several types of night rangs of original design .Some short range some long range they are shown as still photos here ,some have their own videos.

  • It flies very easily and returns accurately .I wont sell them because a single self inflicted lost eye frivolous lawsuit could exceed a million dollars.

  • if you played kirby air ride the sparkle one its kirbys star!

  • lol i wonder what the cars think when they see these? very nice vid tho

  • I like all the oohing and ahhing!

  • Great demo of night flights :))

After throwing and making boomerangs for 40+ years, I'm still not brave enough to catch a 'rang with a sparkler :))

The only thing in this style that I've done is to affix a flasher module (based on a 555 timer) to one of my 'rangs, so that you get the streaks, rather than a continuous line of light...

...but thanks for posting the video; I'll be tellin' all my non-throwing friends to have a look :)

  • 1.Hi Ozboomer , glad to hear from another boomerang thrower . I wrap the sparklers around the top cap of glowstick.

  • 2.The 3-5 blades make it impossible for me to touch the sparkler , I'm just grabbing the lower exposed glow stick .

  • I have one video of these giant 2'triblades (to hold a six inch glowstick )seen flying by day .

  • OH wow! you could do a nice UFO video with those! ... the only boomerang I had when I was young got lost in the deep wood T_T

  • UFO´s xD now i know where they come from

  • I have nothing to do with the probing!

  • i "m a teenager

  • Kid boomerangs 15-45 foot flights soft- medium throw.

Teen -adult boomerangs 50-150 foot flights ,medium -hard throw .

  • thanks a lot

    :D

    is it expensive?

  • I have kids boomerangs $6-$12, teens and adults $12-$27 + shipping .I have dozens of models in flight on seperate videos.

  • hey

    nice video

    :D

    but

where can i buy a bomerang?

    :D

  • There are millions of fake boomerangs sold that have been mass produced .Beware of store bought boomerangs most work poorly or not at all .

  • Buy hand made ones .They are the best .Look up the United States Boomerang Association .

They have along list of boomerang makers world wide .

  • Night boomerangs are much bigger and heavier to hold multi lights .They are NOT for beginners they are too dangerous.I dont sell night boomerangs to avoid self injury lawsuits .

  • Night boomerangs would only be good for an experianced thrower of 1 year minimum . I do sell the day type with no lights.click my URL for catalogs on homepage.

  • too cool :)

  • cool

  • Here's 90% of all UFO sightings ;)

  • thats funny

  • everybody clappin' xD

  • Nice work.

    Would work better in AUS.

    But goodonya mate!!

    AG

  • Ag2c188- Do you see many boomerang throwers in Australia .Ive read they are very rare .Less than 1 out of a million ( serious rang throwers)in the US , even fewer in Australia.

  • that would suck if a car hit the boomerang

  • A car would have to drive up the grass hill for that .Only experianced throwers should put on public shows.

  • Nice!.

  • long exposure shots were nice good work!

  • You should sell them!

  • Have you ever tried flashlights!? HAHA just kidding

I use the little LED fishing lights, and I have used the mini glow sticks, I always assumed the big ones would mess up the throw but i guess I'm wrong, ill try using them next time. THX!

  • I have used 4 inch strobing flashlights .3 settings -white ,flashing or rainbow:the best.Put in center axis.

  • I have a video of the giant triblades 24'' that hold big 6''glowstick and lights flown by day .Big glow sticks require big boomerang!
