Kai, I love your tutorials! Even though I have been using these plastic cameras for years, I still find them watch when I want to know the hard facts. I have alot of 52mm filters and just wanted to know which step-up ring to use. Gotta put on a polarizer on my Holga. Chaa-ching! Just ordered a 46 -> 52 step-up ring from freestyle... Thanks man!
Better idea, cuz the filter can and will pop off: buy the filter holder and filters from holga, twelve bucks (or so). OR just tape a filter on there with gaffers tape.
@wumingkkk Looks but isn't: if you use it on a real shoot where you're moving around, clicking a lot, you have to dink around with screwing it in there, then it can pop off...now I just tape them on, if I want to use them, and its a no hassle deal. One thing, though, is using a lot of pro techniques on a plastic camera starts to defeat the purpose of going Lo - fi in the first place: if you are so concerned about all those bells and whistles, why not just buy an inexpensive Mamiya camera?
@zombra89 Why? its not going to be any different than on any other camera: colored filters: gives it that cast; Polarizer, makes it a bit clearer, brings out some blue in sky; NDS, depending on number, takes exposure down. Whats the big deal? Its just a film camera like any other.
@situmorangml I haven't really tried this on a Diana yet, but I think that since the Diana camera is made of a more brittle plastic than the Holga, it may not work well.
What Will You By Doing That? Dont Mind If I Ask.. Hehe! Will The Picture You Taken Be Clearer Or It Jus To Prevent The Dust From Entering? Hmm. Just Curious Cos Im New In Holga-ing.
hello. will this mod work for the 135bc model? I'm thinking about getting a 135bc and am curious if they have the same lens barrel size of the 120 models. thanks

Hi! Which size of step up and filter ring size that is recommended or suitable for Diana F+ ? Thanks!
