You know to avoid the darking after you unclick you can just use layers which I would suggest doing anyways it is a lot easier

i figure out if u use magic wand with 1% in dark part (of course in divisionmode )of the hair it wouldn go coloring.. and because 1% is simple to less to take all area..well but still a pain XD.. i just do that since i hate that dark area suddenly got sly darker XD

You don't have to click file-open etc. It's easier and faster to drag the pic you want directly to the software window. ~^^

Well, I have a trial version of Photoshop Elements 9 and I get lost once you say to go to Image then Adjustments because there isn't an adjustments option there. Hopefully you can help me. I can't find any other good tutorials on here.

@lovely0456 I would try using the magic lasso instead because thats what looks like its being used. Its almost the same thing as the polygon but it automatically connects to whatever your selecting.
