I'm 19 years old and since i stumbled onto jazz in high school jazz band i have fallen in love with the music and era that this music was at its peak so sad its dying :(. and ill never forget the story when my jazz band teacher met Chet and had the honor to play with him :)

Re Chet's teeth problem; If you like you can check out "I'm A Fool To Want You" that's on youtube here, recorded a year before Chet died - you can clearly see that all his teeth are gone - how he adjusted his lips to blow his horn without his teeth support is beyond me.
It's most likely when he was beat up in Italy. I don't like it but it's your choice, I wonder if you really think it's funny ? You really made a lasting impression.

a rock that's thrown by his friend when he was young. and the reason why in his latter years chet played most of his solos with flugel horn is bacause he've got beaten up by those gang bangers.
Don't make fun of the fact that Chet is missing a tooth. That is his signature, because he was beaten up and his two front teeth were lost. He was a great jazz artist with a herion addiction that followed him to the grave.

This is such a beautiful song by such an amazing person - he shouldn't be portrayed, especially to anyone just getting to know him, looking like a toothless Alfalfa.... besides, from 44,822 views only 3 people have seems to think it so important as to comment about.
