You guys are always going to have a young team with Calipari as the coach. He has admitted that he cares more about getting players to the NBA than getting banners, and it shows. UK has had the top recruiting class in the nation the past 3 years in a row, but the 6 of the top 7 players (in terms of minutes) are underclassmen, and 4 of those 6 are freshmen. UK will have a lot of talent and will go far in the tournament, but they'll get rattled by tough away games and lose.

I was at this game. I was surprised at how hostile the IU fans were (I live in Indiana but have always been a Kentucky fan). Given that environment, and given our young starting line, I'm not mad at our performance. It is always difficult to win on the road. I'd rather lose now and let it be a lesson than to wait until SEC play (or later). We should embrace the ability to come back when trailing double-digits late in the game, against adversity, and really focus on perimeter defense. Peace, BBN.
