it is actually a bad idea to seve this way, a decent player would use his backhand to do a line shot to the left side of the table, making you dive for it, OR if you expected that he would put it right back in the corner where you were standing... either way, serving simple, quick serves from either corner is a bad idea, better to do a slow serve with a ton of spin on it from the center, because then it is easier to predict where they will return the ball

Nice serve to use sparingly. I use to use a fast one in tight matches when it was tense. Because i would usually do back/side spin serves, glaring into the opponents eye for 10 seconds and shooting a flat/little top spin fast ball can confuse them.

1. you can't toss the ball that low in a real game. refs wont allow it.

2. good players will smash that serve right back at your face.
