I love Sungha Jung and all the music he plays, but this arrangement completely and totally missed the point of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by the Beatles. If you take a listen to the original song by the Beatles, you can hear the guitar weeping. Nowhere in this song did I hear the guitar even remotely acting sad or sober. Sungha Jung performed it beautifully, but this arrangement by Jake Shimabukuro was awful and mislead.

As big a fan of Sungha as I am, I have to say he's still got a ways to go to equal Jake Shimabukuro on the ukelele. Maybe it's the difference in the ukes they play, I don't know, but while Sungha's version of Jake's arrangement is first rate, it's not as sweet or as polished as Jake. Do a youtube search for Jake Shimabukuro and listen to him playing the song outdoors and you'll see what I mean.

@TheSundae13 When Sungha started playing he was a kid, albeit a kid with an amazing gift. In the last couple of years many of us have watched him mature into a young man with incredible talent. He doesn't just "play well for a 15 year old", he plays well for a person of any age, due to his talent, not his years. I hope he continues to develop and improve the rest of his life. And one day he will play Jake's uke arrangement as well as or better than Jake. But he's not there yet.
