WWE want's characters they can make themselves, rather than 1's that have already pre-existed on the indy circuit. This is why AmDrag came in with a new persona and why Lo Ki never went anywhere after winning NXT. CM Punk is the only example of a indy wrestler makin it big in WWE. No doubt Mdogg has the talent and experience, but WWE is more likely to take on someone they can teach from scratch.

Watch anything on the indy circuit, WWE makes the SSP look like some big deal, but people in the company had already done it. Such as Billy Kidman, Paul London, Brian Kendrick (The latter was standing but an SSP nonetheless) and even Brock Lesnar.

On the indies, it's just like "Oh, and he hit the Shooting Star Press."

Everyone can do it. I could give you a handful of guys off the top of my head who do it BETTER than Bourne.

Whether matches on the indies are better dpepends on your point of view. Loads of indy matches seem to be flip-flop fests with no emotinal investments in them. Not all, of course, but a lot are. WWE can;t put on shows like that anyway, because they have a hectic schedule. Why the fuck would you risk your life for a few dollars anyway? They should tone it down and work on getting the crowd into it in other ways. Hard to do know that crowds expect five or sixhuge dives per match.

Trust me, Indy wrestlers have it much worse since they would jump from fed to fed to fed for 25 bucks (if lucky) doing over 15 min matches meanwhile alot of people in WWE do squash stuff and take it incrediably easy and earn over 60k a year. There are alot of dramatic matches in Indy places but alot of companies like to do comedy spots or show off their athletic abilities since no one really does it anymore since they're too afraid of getting a boo boo.
