how long do i charge this fir my first charge

i would strongly reccomend a matrix 9.6v battery. greatly increases rof

@DaGamingExpert not really, its just not a real good quality battery, a smart charger wont change that unfortunately.

you can use both but i use just a regular 7 cell one

@listencem2 ok i ask because i just ordered a new 7 cell battery for my ak47 and i plan on getting this gun for christmas and i noticed it uses the butterfly battery. would it be ok to share the 7 cell battery im getting between the 2 guns?

@DaGamingExpert well i use a standard battery but you can use whatever you want as long as it fits. I think it would be ok to share the batteries.
