Didn't work for me. You know Windows has something called "Previous Versions", that lets you do exactly this already right? Or is this utility supposed to do something else? I couldn't tell because like I said I couldn't get it to do anything, but delete restore points.
You should check out UVK (Ultra Virus Killer), it has a lot of good Windows system repairs, including fixing the System Restore. It also has 4 different anti-viruses that automatically update and scan, one after the other - Malwarebytes, Super anti-spyware, Hitman Pro, Kapersky TDSSKiller, and it also includes combofix. You should check it out, I've been using it for a while, wouldn't go without it now. Britec has an excellent tutorial video on this. Hope this helps.
Another nice video...thanks again. Your other video on "Shadow Defender" explains that you can also extract files from the past...however with this piece of software, you can delete specific restore points. I've been looking for software that could do that so props to you my man!!
Very useful tools!! Thank you so much!!

How is that an advantage over Windows 7 previous versions?

@kado897
The only thing this can do that Previous Versions doesn't is delete specific restore points in case of virus. Otherwise it is useless IMO.

@TheJamblaster
Yes and CCleaner can do that for you.

I didn't know that, I'll have to check it out. Is that a new feature of a new version or did I just miss that function?

@TheJamblaster
I can't remember whether it is new. It's on the tools page. You can delete any but the last RP.

It's sad to see Microsoft not include such apps in the OS to begin with .... and this is just one example :(
