I remember going to one of those...about 100 people in the middle of grant park, we were literally surrounded by cops on horses. I reminded me of being in a group of people out in the middle of the ocean with sharks circling around us, while we watched people getting picked off one by one and taken away in handcuffs. I bailed out of there before I could get arrested, I was searched however, and I feel I was lucky, alot of the people arrested have a permanent criminal record.

its in lincoln park... kinda by north ave. beach but across lsd in the grassy park.

ive been goin to this for years now, when it used to be by cricket hill on montrose beach. its always a damn good time.

marched right over LSD into the lake

peace fest used to be at montrose right next to the lake but now they have it over lsd in the park closer to north avenue

just go to myspace and look up hemp and peace fest. cant wait to blaze some trails there

I remember going back in the early 2000's a couple times, one year everyone was real cool and the cops didnt give a fuck and the next few years they were taking pictures of people and arresting cats.  I'm glad to see its gotten back how it should be...

this is crazy I was at that weed fest it was so much fun the band left the stage and led us all to the beach and started playing in the water. Everyone was smoking weed pipes and bongs I smoked a joint in front of a cop. I can't wait till the next one!
