Can you please tell me if the Lightscribe CDs and Lightscribe DVDs are reliable? I mean the lightscribeable surface is made of what?...It is thin like normal CDs (like chromium)?... Or it is thick like normal DVDs (like plastic)?

after you've printed it how long does the print stay good? could it smudge? does it wear out?

@batterycock The print will never come off as it is etched into the surface of the DVD using the laser. Unlike ink which is just layered on top of the disc and could easily be worn away or smudged when fresh.

@djfreebey Samsung SH-S202N, ImgBurn. Remember to check your iso with abgx360 before burning. there's google for more information. just don't be a lazy ass an search yourself

@1s22s22p63s23p64s2 If you dont know where to buy these, I doubt you have a lightscribe drive, wich is required to imprint the image on the disc, otherwise just do a google search.

@MsAwesomeAmandaJoy Mine is Samsung SH-S202N, but any LS drive will work with any windows version as long as there's LS driver/software released for it.

Does it really take 16 minutes to do print it, or do you just have a old LS drive.. I have a really new one that I saw a video of doing it in a minute or two.. hope it was not edited lol.

@TokerMate It takes 16 min to print at high quality setting. if I'd set quality to highest possible setting, printing would take about 30 minutes. But then printed graphics are really dark. If it's set to lowest quality, I'm sure it can print in less than 10 minutes easilly, but result won't look that good. My drive is not old, also I don't know if minutes depend much on the device.
