  • daft is a kind word

  • It's interesting to see how primitive and uncivilized these people still are. Do they have technology or education there? How about religion? What do these people worship? Are they like their African brothers and sisters?

  • @esentialhaze dont be daft

  • BULA!!!

  • BULA!

  • OH MY GOD THAT'S MY TOUR GUIDE! I was there last week!

  • kava is ok but its bad for your liver, mulungu is a great replacement it feels very similar and its like $5 an oz on eBay its a good deal

  • @polishkilla94 the leaf and stem are bad for your liver. you only drink the root and its healthy

  • Oops! So good I had to say it twice.

  • Re some previous comments. No, good grog (e.g. made from freshly pounded carefully cleaned Kadavu yagona) shouldn't taste like dirty soap water at all (though I've had plenty in Suva that does!). It should be a bit peppery and slightly numb your mouth and throat.

  • Talo Ratu.

  • Bula, Bula. Bula

  • I miss fiji

  • beautiful culture, but that stuff tastes like nasty dirt water. I had the opportunity of participating in several kava ceremonies during my village stay as well as in Nadi, I love how everyone is so welcoming but that stuff tastes like shit. You also can definately get a hangover from it. I was told to drink a couple beers to get rid of it, and it worked. I had a terrible migrane for several days
