It's interesting to see how primitive and uncivilized these people still are. Do they have technology or education there? How about religion? What do these people worship? Are they like their African brothers and sisters?
Re some negative comments on flavor. No, good grog (e.g. made from freshly pounded carefully cleaned Kadavu yagona) shouldn't taste like dirty soap water at all (though I've had plenty in Suva that does!). It should be a bit peppery and slightly numb your mouth and throat. Cheers!

beautiful culture, but that stuff tastes like nasty dirt water. I had the opportunity of participating in several kava ceremonies during my village stay as well as in Nadi, I love how everyone is so welcoming but that stuff tastes like shit. You also can definately get a hangover from it. I was told to drink a couple beers to get rid of it, and it worked. I had a terrible migrane for several days
hahahahahaa........ my bad bro. There are many different ways in Fiji as well. Different in Provinces, Districts and even in villages...... some are entertaining and some even scary. One Love bruv...........
other than that thats why i really like your ceremony cos there is singing. We dont sing... the men just shout oh wait are you offended icos i sed we tough guys na i mean we wannabe tough guys hehe. Na i really do respect your culture bro. please forgive if i offended! 1love brother

Their is only one women there tho unless there is a female chief presnt and that girl is the high chiefs daughter the ''taupou'' and yeh she mixes the ava.
