I randomly stumbled across this video, but you're totally right. There's a buttload of channels that get like 200 views every day. YouTube has started focusing on the financial opportunities they see. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's sad to see little kids that only play CoD with partnerships and bad videos.

Nice point . I've stopped chasing the subs and yt partnership . If people like my stuff they will sub. I work full time so the partnership or Adsense money doesn't really bother me (not being snooty) . I get revenue from selling the review items on eBay . It's not pathetic. First of all, it doesn't matter how many subs you have, YouTube cares about how many views you get on each video. Second, if you have a channel that deserves partnership, then you will probably be partnered. Third, I know a few people who only have 500 subs, but get about 1k views PER DAY. not per video, per day, according to socialblade. Good vid, but please just don't look at others and be happy with what you have

I know it would be great to be partnered with companies like Yeousch and Machinima, but it doesn't mean you have to rush the process.
