Very impressive speed on this. I wish the sound was better because it sounds like the lower notes are meshing together...but it's really good. I have this arrangement and I get asked to play it. It is draining but SO much fun!!
Thanks. I have actually fixed the speed...my piano teacher after seeing this repremanded me. I had to cut the speed by like 1/3 and back then I had horrible pedaling. I've since fixed that too.

concertpianist15 -- my favorite arranger is Mark Hayes -- I played Rudy Atwood many years ago, but I'm now thankful for arrangements such as Mark Hayes' -- beautiful chords, and not just octaves and runs all over the place.
pianotuner1 -- Rudy Atwood's name should not be removed because concertpianist15 has listed Rudy as the arranger of this piece! And when people put music on here that is not their own arrangement, they should attribute it to the arranger.
Great job! Looks like you have a key that sticks?

@weatherboi Thanks. There are two broken keys. Theres also no one who services those pianos anymore.

Rudy Atwood....but I've done it a horrible injustice. I'm working on a new and improved version.

I am now in the process of redo-ing this video. After a year of piano lessons I have improved so much.

Ebay would be your best bet. I don't see it too often on other sites. I checked and there is someone selling one on ebay.

This is pretty good. There's way too much pedal but overal I would give it at least a 4 star.

no -- just sound musical advice.
markpianoman 4 years ago
Just a few suggestions:
1. use much less pedal...tends to blurrrr
2. bring out the melody more, and lessen the volume in the running bass.
3. practice at much slower tempos (and faster tempos) to gain accuracy.
Otherwise it was great!

Thanks for the suggestion.

Is there supposed to be such dissonace in your chords, or are you missing notes, or is your piano out of tune?
onemileaway 4 years ago 2
There is not dissonance in my chords, I'm not missing any notes, and it's an electric piano. The camera microphone is not the best one in the world.
concertpianist15 4 years ago
You are good, but you are missing some notes. Even Bach missed notes, though.
Remember: "The unexamined life is not worth living."
onemileaway 4 years ago
onemileaway -- the dissonance you are referring to is caused by inaccuracy (wrong notes) and way too much pedal causing lots of tonal blurrrring!

remarkable, but nothing like Rudy Atwood, I would remove his name from it

I'm sorry if I've done something to offend you, but this arrangement was arranged by Rudy Atwood. I think he would like it if I accredited him.
