If this were a female intruder, in another video... I can't find it now... this same eagle with the spot on its head mounts "Belle" and they copulate toward the end of the video. This is a male.

What interests me is how passive the intruder is. I'd think if it was another female, trying to take over the nest / territory, that it would fight back like crazy. It is cowering. And she is clawing it's back, giving it the white marks on the back. That then is the same eagle she is getting along with in the videos I posted - see " NCTC Eagle Cam West Virginia Puzzle "

Thanks for this website. Great job capturing this when we can't all see it. I've done some screen shots but now have to crop them, etc. These videos are much better. Thanks again - I missed this confrontation.

Good job Belle! The intruder is definitely smaller than Belle. Wonder why she wasn't more aggressive to chase her away earlier. All for nothing. Now the nest is empty. I find that website hard to post and follow.
