  • dodge sucks but your a retard anyway

  • hello! Truth have released a van and the transmission fails you, sorry for you and it has been corrected instead of taking a claim at the agency, I took her to the agency and the claim if I had bought!

  • that's what you get for buying a Chrysler...them shits dont last long, i dont care what people say, IT JUST DON'T LAST LONG!

  • this is shit because if this truck was brand new the power train warranty is 7 years or 70,000 miles

  • @djdrxx Indeed, however they send the transmission out to a repair shop that fixes it with cheap japanese parts that don't last. The previous dodge truck he had had that done. Tranny lasted a week. This ram is now at 160,000 miles on the same replacement tranny and original clutch

  • I have had my 2 grand caravan for years and I have never had any problems at all he must have drove it hard or something.

  • The best Dodge is the one you don't own.

  • Except Dodge trannys fail all the time. They aren't Allisons, that's for sure.

  • every make has issues. not one is perfect regardless of what the paid off car mags report. been in the business 20 years, every brand has a full garage of broken cars in their dealers on a daily basis. get over it. if a dealer tries to screw you, go over their heads to corporate. you will get results.

  • that dealer ship were asses, should have been on the phone with chrysler as soon as that bs happened.. that 5th gear issue was a flaw by new venture in the way the gear was secured, new venture is a company that was created by dodge and chevy, combing Muncie and New Process. that has been fixed for years by a service bulletin for chevy and dodge. this was a case of one dealer being asses, period. mopar trannies are no worse than any other. anyone says diff has no experience working on them. i do

  • My Chrysler basically turned into a pile of junk in 6 years!!

  • OMG you're a moron. I'm not sure why it wasn't covered under warranty. OTher than that, no content of any use in this video.

Holy crap, nothing happens when you put it in 5th gear! Yes, we know. You already said the trans was bad. If 5th worked, you wouldn't have a bad transmission. Genius!

Obviously this was a flaw from the factory that should've been caught. Shame on Chrysler. It does happen though, so deal with the problem and move on. Again, what a waste of time this video is.

  • wow i think if he had fought this he could have gotten it replaced by the dealer. He did a great job on his own though but it was proably exensive as fuck. Stupid chrysler should just fail already

  • @luis3826 Transmission was $2600. Chrysler test drove it after he replaced the tranny. They fully reinbursed him for the cost of the new transmission

  • mybad new jersey type guy

  • your voice is so fucking annoying redneck

  • Dodge is by far better than ford, my truck has 240,000 miles my dads has 235,000 miles and my friends 6.4 ford diesel blew up at 140,000 miles...

  • Wow, having to R&R your own transmission on a brand new dodge out of your own pocket. Chrysler rules!

  • Fuck Chrysler, We have never had a problem with any of the Fords, or Toyotas we have owned. And when we did have problems with either (even when they arer our fault) our local dealers said "bring them in" When the tranni went in our Sequoia, the dealer replaced, no questions asked, Same in our old Ford windstar.

  • Chrysler corp, Used to make good stuff years ago,,like in the 1960's and 1950's They make junk now. Electronics, the cheap 41 Re transmission, the 2.7 sludge motor. plus their customer service is atrocious.

  • yeah!

i had a chrysler and the fucking computer went out at 50,000 miles

    now theyre making jeeps

    great.

  • @TwiztidICP90

They have been making Jeeps since 1992... Get with times much ??

  • @1ownjoo2 thats when they had amc tech retard, and since like 87 actually, get with time much??

  • @TwiztidICP90

So i suppose the WJ is AMC tech, and WK ? They have been making Jeeps for a decade

  • Say thank you to BOB EATON and all the assholes who gave up the third american largest automaker to the germans.

  • @briagadaress And now to the Italians. I say, I hope Chrysler goes bust. I dont want them.

  • @Motorfordtoyota This guy should of fought back this is bull shit But....... with that sed I never want a Toytota.....thay drive like shit and ther gas pedle sticks the name is correct ther a toy!

  • @Motorfordtoyota This guy should of fought back this is bull shit But....... with that sed I never want a Toytota.....thay drive like shit and ther gas pedle sticks the name is correct ther a toy!

  • 4:10 "who-hah" lol

  • I have the same exact truck and you are on crack that it "Lost 5th gear" You need to be more explanatory as to HOW you broke it, no the truck didn't break it, YOU BROKE IT. You can complain ALL you want about "how chrysler destroyed my x" But in fact it was you who drove it, and it was you who broke it. Plus there is no descriptive video of how youve pulled the shifter and tranny out so....

By question is this? was there ZERO miles when you bought it?

  • @zerglin87 You could have read the earlier comments and STOP USING CAPS AND BEING JUDGEMENTAL. "Trucks" on Spike covered this like the previousearlier guy said. If a pin pops out the top gear is gone.

  • FUCK YOU! DODGE ARE REAL TRUCKS.

  • yea thats why i dont buy dodge they just suck. except for the cummins engine

  • you cant go from 4th to 5th and expect the tranny not to get damaged.... warranties do no cover dumbasses

  • Dodges are notorious for there transmission failures I don't care how much of a die hard dodge fan you are there is no denying it.

  • @airsoftmp5a4 i have had a 1500 ram befor it was a 1999 or 2001 and the trans never went on me maybe you guys need bullshit toyota cars

  • @airsoftmp5a4 Exactly!! I hate fanboys. Dodge/Chrysler sucks. period. There will be always lucky people that have dodges for 200,000 miles with no problems.. but thats not the norm. With quality automakers, it's the other way around whereas having one that gives you problems is rare. All the stats of automakers are public domain, and you can see the ratio for lemon cars per... lets say 100,000 built. American is at the top of the list, especially chrysler. Ford is the only one thats doing well.

  • If it was new why would they not fix it?

  • the pin of death popped out, this was on trucks spike tv

  • Wow dude, you did a hell-of-a job fixing this truck.

  • Wow dude, you did a hell-of-a job fixing this truck.

  • Several things don't make sense about this video. If you take the vehicle back for the same problem a few times they are required by lemon law to replace with another.Second, how did you know the problem was transmission and not linkage or clutch?

P.S. no one can get their cars fixed anymore. All the good techs left years ago, many new techs quit and leave the field as soon as they see how little it pays. You can make more flipping burgers.

  • @jaydenfre2413 The trans has no linkage. Because the shifter goes in the top of trans. And if was the clutch the truck would not move in any gear.

  • Clutches can slip in higher gears, obviously wasn't the problem anyway, I couldn't hear clearly what he was saying. The trans has a linkage, it's inside the transmission (Shift forks),You don't need an entirely new trans to fix that. There isn't much to a manual so there isn't much else it could have been. This is likely the reason the dealer told him they wouldn't give him a new trans.

  • wow, cool... some fat faggot with some sort of mental disorder (who the fuck talks like that?) is complaining about a bad transmission on a truck that is not even worn in yet, try driving for about a thousand miles and by then the transmission will get worn in. You are complaining about a truck with one fucking problem, one. But you know, nothing is perfect, just a shame that dodge's achilles tendon is the transmission.

  • what are you talking about?!? no 5th gear is not a running in issue, that's a busted transmission. Driving an extra 1000miles will not make it magically return!!

    Also I'd say a blown g-box is a major fucking issue, especially @ 72miles.

  • a mental ross from friends.

  • @JoeCnNd hilarious

  • @boon222222 lmao

  • Had an 04 Dodge dually, had transmision & drivetrain issues. Thought it was just bad luck for me to have purchased this,so traded it back in to them, lost alot of course in trade. Got 07 dodge dually, Heavy Duty, 11,000 miles clutch fails.Thought I had a 100,000 powertrain warranty, but clutches arent covered, and clutch was warranteed for all 10,000 miles. They said sorrry bout luck!Replaced clutch myself, was designed for failure. Then ball joints, 3 serious recalls, there peices of shit!!!!

  • FORD SUCKS!!!

  • u havent bought a dodge! I dont have a ford but respect them for not taking bailout money and making it on there own. Times have changes, its all mass production and no pride in the making like it use to be!

  • daimler sucks ...

  • I would have laughed so hard had the clutch caught when you were revving the engine in 5th. yeah, 72 miles that sucks lmao

  • Nice job on the truck and a good attitude besides. I would have screaming and cussing, not to mention suing.

  • Hard to sue a bankrupt company, your stuck, with no hope, and no remorse for how mad it makes you.

  • U better know how to work on a dodge cause there mechanics sure as hell dont know how or the manufacter..I have proof bitches!!

  • fuckin christ you guys are dumb....have you seen the improvent by dodge over the years? my dad had an accident with his dodge magnum in toronto.....and drove it all the way back to montreal without a prob....my mothers MINI cooper has more problems than my dads magnum

  • To hitace: American cars and trucks suck. they make more an hour than foreign workers and they make a better vehicle. Dodge is the worst. Been there.

  • Good mechanicing, man. Hope it lasts ya a long time now. You apparently had gotten a faulty transmission and Chrysler is a bunch of ass holes. I'm glad they went under.

  • It is a Dodge...

  • Just don't buy a Chrysler

  • Well lets be honest, 72 miles is about the life span for a Chrysler transmission

  • Yup more Chrysler garbage. If I was you I would have lemon lawed it the second Chrysler would not replace the transmission.

  • And you wonder why their company is in the crapper.

  • buy a fuckin automatic dumbass you sound like your an illegal retard go buy an import you dont deserve an american made truck

  • and you r not retard because ur not an illegal?i fucken hate dicks like u.r u some kind of god u think?are u better than everyone else?should we all bow to you?your fucken moron trailer mullet sister banging married to your mom trash.buy an auto lol yeah autos r for homos like you.and theres nothing special about american cars they r really bad.they cannot compare to asian car ever or europian.american cars come last always in reliability.go dick up you sister homosexual sailor

  • relax before 4 foot men bitchslap you like in vietnam

  • Never buy a Crapler made pile. I would go Nissan, Honda, Toyota, something that'll last idiots a long time. This guy is a dip shit. His voice is, wow. This guy is stupid.

  • And you do realize some of those brands you mention make things for the big 3 brands?

  • I think it's funny that people here knock dodge, Dodge didn't build the transmission; New Venture did,,

the NV4500 was used in Chevy 3/4 & 1 ton trucks too,, losing 5th is not that big a deal, all that happens is the nut on the main shaft backs off and the gear slides back, a aftermarket nut is available with 3 set screws instead of 1.. I've done too many to keep count,,

  • So in the description you said they were willing to take care of it but just not in the manner you wanted. If they rebuilt it you would of had a warranty on it so that may have been the better option.

  • i`m going to call your bluff on this theres no way chrysler would not cover this with on 72 miles on it.unless you did something stupid to it. i mean what did you do shift with out the clutch or something in that order.od did you not know what your were doing and thought reverse was 5th gear.

  • Look's like this guy has done this before?

  • should have bought a ford

  • Shouldn't buy American at all. Piece of shit

  • He should have got a Nissan, Toyota, or Honda, He sounds pretty out of it the video, lol

  • Ok peoples, once agian the brands your are mention make things for the big 3 brands and all american cars. I like toyota, I like dodge, it doesnt matter what you buy. Just now how to drive and do maintenance.

  • it's okay. Chevy isnt that bad anymore, and Ford is simply amazing now. I agree with you somewhat, but honostly dude Dodge Chrysler Jeep are TERRIBLE. Their build quality and the way they treat their employee's/customer's is HORRID. Their the ONLY Car manufactuering company that I know of, that has a straight up conspiracy website where thousands post up their crap about Crapler.

  • I would say all the brands, even toyota are falling on their faces. Ive been hearing some not to great things happening with them. Ford is still getting the 6.4l strait and chevy still have eletrical quarks.

Im a jeep and dodge person always. people say their bad but my jeep at 350,000 and our dodge ram at 280,000 with no major parts changed. I really put it on people not knowing how to drive and do the maintenance needed.

  • @dethpig420 ford has faults and gm, every company does simple as that. no comapny is perfect. ya dodge had faults and some now, but so far ive heard more recalls for gm or ford. i have nothing against other companys but u have to no that w.e company u cheer for for sure has problems now or will or has.

  • then you can just get out!!

  • You cant just leave you and I both know that.

  • is your dream to live in japan?>

  • No?

  • are you proud to be an american

  • Why would I be?

  • cuzz you dont like are trucks or cars would you rather buy a import?

  • I'd rather buy the most efficient vehicle, that does not waste gas. Which in this case is not any of the american cars. So yes I'd rather buy an import.

  • and when you buy that import dont bitch when the japs bomb us again becuase you helped fund them so soon to ferget

  • lol you're an idiot. The computer you're using to spew that non-sense is foreign.

  • no its a dell

  • You are a freaking idiot. Thanks for proving my point.

  • hey asshole my dell was made in the usa I like to help the US economy not destory it bt buyin shitty tinker toy import ricers

  • Dell computers (just like american cars) are assembled in the USA. Get your facts straight idiot.

  • yea and by buying things that are assembled things in the usa you help support the usa econmy

    whore

  • You are a fucking retard. You're one reason why I buy foreign as much as possible.

  • so you like destorying the us economy?

    ok

  • yes that's it

  • If it means i can buy a car thats not a pile of shit, then yes

  • @hitace its not about destroying the US economy. I had an 02 sebring that suffered engine failure at 67k miles. I maintenanced it well and theres no excuse for that. Its more like chrysler destroyed US citizens I had to take a loss on that raggedy piece of crap.

  • @hitace one automaker surpassed the other two guess who it is? they learned from others to build smaller, more efficient yet powerful engines. I hope one day they would make the worlds most efficient yet powerful pickup truck.

  • Most American cars are from Canada and Mexico

  • that's exactly why I don't give a shit about buying American hell the big 3 are actually mexican and canadian and mercedes, toyota, honda, BMW, Nissan, Kia, and soon even VW are made here.

  • I still care about the big 3 but I love Honda and its made in Ohio =)

  • Over the last five years FORD has seen the biggest gain in MPG and emissions. Go get educated you brainwashed fuck.

  • Yes they have but there have been many other car companies that have been fuel efficient front the get go. So go figure; finally catching up to the real competition.

  • Comment removed

  • how do u know that

  • It's quite obvious the owner did something to the trans to make it do that. An NV4500 doesn't just break like that with only 72 miles on it.

  • @Diesel4me2 Hey shit for brains. Ever give thought his driveway isn't level? disengaging the clutch is neutral, thats why it went backwards

  • @Bloodcurling @Diesel4me2 when driving home, the a pin in the transmission came loose (wasn't properly assembled or left out), then dropped into the transmission which locked up the wheels as the truck was already in 5th. The company that made the tranny admitted this and offered to replace it free. Dodge wouldn't let them. The truck has over 150,000 miles on the original clutch and replaced tranny. In the video, you can see reverse is messed up as well.

  • @MovieMakerKeith My apologies, The 5th gear nut probably backed out on you. Common problem, (but easily fixed) in the NV4500 5 speeds. All you do is drop the pan, put the nut back on, & peen, or weld the nut so it won't back out on you again.

  • @Bloodcurling Hey Shithead, Go fuck yourself! You're wrong too asshole.

  • @Diesel4me2 What happened cocksucker? angry that you got caught talking before thinking? How am I wrong, you're talking about welding the same nut back on that the pin failed to hold in

    Faggot

  • Comment removed

  • now that you made the mistake of buying a dodge, get rid of it and dont make that mistake again. case solved.

  • I have worked for GM, Chrysler and Toyota. Chrysler would fix problems like this no questions asked. Unlike GM or Toyota. They would good will warranty problems like this when vehicle were over 36k. The only reason this truck would not have been fixed is if there was obvious signs of abuse. The dealer would have been paid 6 hours labor at 90.00 an hour. Plus parts mark up. Do You think they would not fix his truck. I bet this truck was in a flood.

  • I worked for Chrysler Jeep for 10 years. What this guy isn;t telling us is how he treated the vehicle. Abuse will void Your warranty. We got vehicles all the time that had mud falling on Your head when you looked at it. But the customer would swear that he was driving normal. Why should Chrysler pay for abuse? The dealer makes money on these type of repairs,so they are quick to fix it,unless this guy abused it,and Chrysler wont pay.He did something to the truck that he isn't telling us about.

  • Yeah. The fucker probably ground the tranny into nothing.

  • read the description dude. it says he only drives it to and from work.

  • why in the world would you replace a trans on a new truck? Why didnt you sue the dealership or something? just curious. no lemon law?

  • I am very sorry for your luck but this is hardly an exclusive Chrysler problem. I bought a new GMC in '88 and had electrical related problems from the day I got it. The dealer (of course) was no help and the manufacturer ran the other way too. I had to eat that one.

I currently drive a 1996 Ram 1500 that I bought new on New Year's Eve of that year. It's taken quite a beating, but 130,000 miles later, runs flawless. Sorry, but I'll opt for a Dodge when replacement time comes around. Good luck .

  • they put the wrong tranny fluid in it! just change it.

  • s14sr, lets get together and shitkick xxMafia101 lol. I don't like his attitude. Everyone makes mistakes and a man or company who doesn't make up for them doesn't deserve any pride. I'm a Ford fan but even I'll admit Ford and GM made and still make alot of junk. Imports for the most part are decent but all cars have their issues

  • That's to bad that happened to Gary, he sounds like a cool guy.

  • you guys are a buntch of winy bitches. Every car company is gonna have defects EVERY SINGLE ONE. And now your all saying "im never going to buy dodge again!' Well then fuck you. Dodge makes great cars. And DaimlerChrysler isnt even a company anymore. They fucked chrysler over soooo bad. So give chrysler and dodge another chance.

  • No.

  • Then go suck a dick you little bitch. Chrysler's quaility has improved dramatically since they left Mercedes. Support ALL american car companies.

  • A bit angry, aren't we? My Japanese van was built in Alliston, so any "support your national automakers" guilt trips don't fly with me. I also don't support American car companies because I just have a problem with people being paid 60+ dollars an hour to control robots that build cars that are overall sub par in workmanship, quality and durability when compared to imports. They made bad choices. Let them crash and burn

  • I support the car companies that accually take care of there customers. Chryslers not one of them. Ford and GM do. Who's sucking a dick now, huh fanboy bitch?

  • Well lets see. NOT CHRYSLER. Incase you didnt know, Chrysler is owned be Fiat while GM is being fucked over. How do you know Chrysler doesnt take care of their customers? Unless you have bought their product...which im assuming was DimlerChrylser. Give Chrysler another chance. They had all their cash stripped from them but Mercedes. And because of that they had to use cheap ass parts. The future looks bright for them. I mean, have you seen the Jeep Grand Cherokee?

  • How is GM being fucked over by not being taken under the wing of some pissant Italian automaker? I can't really speak for s14sr, but my family owned a 1995 Chrysler product for 12 "fun" filled years.. I can tell you right now the only thing my mom would replace what she drives now with, is another Honda. I really could care less who goes under, but I'd rather be in a GM then a Dodge. Why? member of a GMC/Chev/GMC/Chev/GMC family for 21 years; great trucks- all of them.

  • ok then so why is it that not a single chrysler car is suggested as top safety pick when other car companies have at least one vehicle???

second i refuse to suport GM and Chryser when the y claim they need government money to soposedly pay off their debts that they refused to fix.

  • Chrysler is out of the picture. They were smart and tied with a bigger company to help them. But yesterday the local news station didnt even bother showing GM's stock. Hopefully they will get out of this mess like Chrysler did. Unlike you I have learned to support all american car companies. If you were a true car enthusiest, you would see the strong points of each compan regardless of a few defects etc.

  • i used to support them to but you know after a while you kinda get tired of their bullshit products. and yes both GM and Chrysler have strong points but honestly you have to look at the reality and that is their strong points today are very very small.

  • YOU ought to get hip to whats REALLY going on and not just mock what the boys at the bar say.

Chrysler, GM, and a shitload of other companies were caught with their pants down when WALL STREET tanked and required an enormous, NO STRINGS ATTACHED, bailout. Even though Chrysler had weak leadership, GM did not therefore you cant blame the companies entirely. Chrysler, and all, car companies know where the weak points are but the market succumbed to a non-standard set of circumstances.

  • if GM had good leadership then explain to me why their in the crap they're in now

  • LOL.

  • The video title is wrong. Dodge covered this under warranty in the real video.

  • No wonder Chrysler's filed for Bankruptcy.

GM is no better. If I had a gun to my head and had to buy American I'd buy a Ford.

Why would anyone by these vehicles? They fucking SUCK.

    What happened to American cars?

I have a Toyota 98 Corolla. It has 78K miles and has only been serviced once, and it runs as new as the day I bought it.

I suggest you buy a Japanese or German vehicle.

  • Ford has improved a lot and its US sales have exceeded Toyota. Try a Ford.

  • All these comments make me laugh. Every American car breaks. I've worked in both markets and imports have way less warranty repairs than domestic.

Too bad he dumped all that money on an entire trans. All he had to do was replace a shift fork.

  • poor guy. that's an aweful feeling, when your car breaks down out of nowhere.

that's why i only buy japanese (honda or toyota). if a honda or toyota breaks down its usually related to user neglect (not replacing tires, breaks or oil according to schedule).

  • I used to only buy japanese, toyota burned oil and i had everything under the hood but te engine replaced at 32k miles...i then got a nissan sentra it wouldnt start on hot days (fuel fiter)..i then got a kia sedona lx for the exact same price i payed for the sentra and corolla 17,000...its the only car i can really say is trouble free, only thing i had to fix was the fuel gauge, it read empty when it was full (was covered under warranty).

  • Consumer reports is a joke. They don't know know shit, nor do they know how to properly test vehicles either. I go by Customer Reviews of actual owners, not some flim-flam propaganda printed on wasted paper.

  • Ditto. CR uses a stupid black dot - red dot system to inform consumers of trouble spots on just about any vehicle in any model year. If I want to know if a specific make/model is good, I just walk up to people that own and drive them and ask them, "Would you buy another _ _ _ _ _ (whatever)?" CR gets PAID to say what they say, I don't care what they say about being "independent." Motortrend isn't too bad, they rip just about everyone.

  • This is all stupid. I feel sorry for the guy being a new truck and all. Just because this trans went out so fast does not mean chrysler sucks. This can, will, and does happen to any brand of car. I have 2 Rams and a couple jeeps. One ram is diesel with 250,000 miles with an automatic with no problems. The reason people say the autos in these are bad is because people never put the right fluid in them. What happend here isnt chrysler not wanting to cover it, it is the dealer being stupid.

  • And just about all Chrysler dealers are stupid, that's why the brand image is in the toilet, along with the crappy engineering and cheap materials vs. the competition. I had a problem where our 2006 PT Cruiser rear quarter glass was loose, we got the recall notice the same day it came loose. I couldn't get it fix by a dealer, I had to Liquid Nail it myself, it was a lease, thank God, after 27 months and several things breaking, I finally gave it back (not without a nice valvetap, not my fault).

  • this guy sounds drunk.

  • Replaced the whole trans? No fifth and reverse? That's just a broken shift fork, or the pin that holds it on the rail came out...... The NP4500 is a good trans, this one must have been built on a Monday. Could have been fixed by only spending $40 bucks. I'm a Chrysler master tech. That's just how Chrysler operates for all transmission repairs. Its very rare they replace it as a unit. We pretty much rebuild all our transmissions. Sending it out sounds shady to me.

  • Go to Toyota, unlike Chrysler they'll be here for at least another 100 years. They could use your expertise and experience.

  • Been there, done that. I averaged 60 hours per week at Toyota and I average 60 per week fixing Dodge, Chryslers and Jeeps. I only made 21 an hour at Toyota and I make 30 per hour now. I go where the money is. Toyota makes a great product. All we did was maintenance. Maybe only got two or three warranty tickets a week at Toyota. Chrysler is the opposite, all I get is warranty work. But since I'm the diesel tech on my team its easy to up sell maintenance.

  • my truck did the samething but drop the back cone put the a nut and shift fork broke did it by my self in two days

  • ur right it does

  • Don't blame daimler blame mopar shit the cars/trucks are cheaply built compared to chevy/ford. I only know this because my friend works there.. well did reccession is wonderful

  • Oh my gosh! Your CHRYSLER broke down and now you have to buy a new transmission? I thought Chrysler built good reliable cars and kept true to their WARRANTY! Lmao. Don't even get me started. You'll never catch half my ass dead in a chrysler.

  • mine did the samething... got it fix and traded it... never looked back

  • I'm not a chrysler person I love Ford's but that problem isn't chryslers fault its the trannys manufacturers fault.

  • Chrysler doesn't "suck" as you put it. They're one of the most dependable vehicles on the market right now. At least they covered your costs. You should change the title to "Transmission swap", or something relevant.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't know what fucking fairy tale world you have been living in (Diesel4me2) but Chrysler is complete and total shit. I wish they would go out of business already.

  • No fary tales here, just a truck that doesn't break down. Chrysler's not going anywhere.

  • Oh really? LOL I love reading retarded fan boy shit that are wayyyyyy to fucking optimistic.

  • I have been thinking the same thing, lol. Chrysler is like a horse with a broken leg, just shoot the f******* already.

  • hahahahaha read consumer reports once in awhile you redneck,

  • it would have been so funny if your transmission caught while you were in fifth gear an you drove through your garage door LOL

  • lmao, yeah that would have been my favorite vid

  • put it reverse and see if the baty switch and back up switch light up, check that

  • I was reading through the comments and saw where the poster of this video said "Chrysler fully reimbursed all the costs for the transmission."

We don't know the whole story and what happened at the dealer, but you should at least put that in the info sidebar. At least Chrysler stepped up and took care of it.

  • that info is in the sidebar, along with more problems. click "more info"

  • i agree mopar rock

  • i bet the fork for 5th and reverse broke and it would have been cheaper to replace the forks than the trans. but under warrenty it was probably replace for free but the dealer would have done the work if it was mine

  • we had a dodge and it went through two transmissions and two motors all within 100,000 miles the first trans went at 3,000 miles then at 25,000 the first motor replaced at 65,000 then again at 120,000 i traded it in for a ford never had a problem again 200,000 miles and still runnin the guy that bought my old dodge said he had to replace the second trans at 125,000 miles so it really has had 3 transmissions so far

  • New title should be, "retarded guy replaces transmission."

  • Funny
